I got my PER e-mail two weeks ago, exactly one month after my CC was charged.

How much time does it take from encashment to medicals request?

Are they still procesing my application in Canada or do they send it to my visa office?

I have send my application under NOC 2172 on 23 rd Oct 2014 and CC on 7 Jan 2015 .
Till Date no response and all I can do is Wait Wait and Wait .

Atleast they can send us some kind of Application #, is it normal ?

I think you worry unnecessarily. Your CC was charged on 7 January, so it is not even a month since they started processing your application. For me it took exactly one month from CC charge to PER. It may take one month or even longer for you to get some news from CIC. Wait patiently at least one week longer.

Not all VO send AOR. However, you can check your e-CAS if there is already line 2 (we started processing..) which means your application is already with your respective VO.

Hi Freinds,

What does it indicates when the CC is charged or DD is encashed?? Is it a sign of acceptance of application or still there are chances of getting it rejected even after CIC has charged the application fee. My cc was charged on 29 Dec 2014 ans there is no news on PER.

I tried calling CIC 3-4 times to ask my UCI No. but the agents said that they have a mandate of not sharing the details on phone.

Even I would like to know the answer for that. All I know is that PER to MR takes 45 to 60 days.

But PER to AOR or PER to 2nd line update, I dont know...

Hey friends,

I have received my PER on 28th Jan 2015

And I know it takes 45-60 days to receive PER and I have just completed 5 days of my wait. However, I am feeling so impatient as 28th March, 2015 looks so far from today

I wanted to know what can go wrong after recieving PER.

I keep thinking of what is going to happen in the background verification. Will they contact my boss or my Company's boardline. What if they do not get a good response
