Where should I apply for PCC.

My current and permanent address are different from address on passport.

Should I apply only in my current residence or on permanent and at place of issue of my passport.

it should be on the address you provided on your application.
In fact in India pcc is given for all India. Not statewise or placewise.
I think Tata consultancy does that job through passport seva kendra.
just go in and check with them.

Bro Don't Worry. Oct 20 has just started to get the ECAS updated and PER started to pool. You will get soon within a day or two..

I'm yet to receive PER. Oct 7 applicant n was informed that DD has been cashed. Honestly...I'm getting weak.

So what is the timeline now? When should we expect the medical exams to be requested? Around March/April or it is too optimistic?

Can anyone say how many days before ECAS is activated prior to getting PER.

In my case it was 5 days, activated on Jan 13th in the morning - received PER on Jan 18th in the afternoon.
