As CIC takes more than 50 days to answer email now, I think PER will come long before their reply even if an email is sent now, not 60 days after CC charged. My advice is to sit tight and good news will come soon. Or give them a call @ +1 613 944 4000 from outside of Canada to see if you can get UCI and check your status online!

FYI, I called them last week and I got my UCI number but there is nothing online, my application has been received on 14th October (mode of payment DD), I called my bank several times to see if they can tell me if the DD has been encashed but they told me there is no way to tell from their side. I'm waiting and checking every day the status online, but nothing so far.

My processing fee was charged on 15 December, but I'm not in the system yet. I already have my UCI that I was given on a previous occasion, but when I enter it in the "check your application" box (along with other personal details), I get the meaasge that they have no info on my application. Should I be worried?

I don't think you should worry just yet. UCI becomes active on receipt of PER. All the best to us all.

i agree, i think CIC is currently sending PER's to September applicants, we will have to be patient till the new year, i am very optimistic January will be our turn to receive the golden email.
