My application was received on Oct 2nd and CC charged on Dec 5th. I haven't received my PER yet. Any idea when I can expect a news? will it be by post or email?

Will have to wait until 60 days from encashment. Then u can write a mail to CIC if not get PER by that time.

Hi,

If you are anxious you can send them an email at CIO- Sydney- Search- Enquiry @ cic .gc .ca (without space). However, keep in mind they take more than 50 days to answer emails now. I sent them an email on November 7th and yet to receive any reply. Luckily, my PER came 2 weeks ago.

Anyway, your CC has been charged and I believe your PER will come real soon, much earlier than any reply you may expect from them in 50+ days. Or give them a call @ +1 613 944 4000 from outside of Canada to see if you can get UCI and check your status online!

What is their email address, so that I can send an email to CIC/CIO and confirm the acceptance of my application as they have charged my CC yesterday night.

As CIC takes more than 50 days to answer email now, I think PER will come long before their reply even if an email is sent now, not 60 days after CC charged. My advice is to sit tight and good news will come soon. Or give them a call @ +1 613 944 4000 from outside of Canada to see if you can get UCI and check your status online!
