Congrats for that. I am surprised that Oct 2014 applicants are being charged now. I thought CIC was still processing Aug applicants. Confused...

Dear friend for your information DD is something pre-paid how come it encashes from your "account"!
I guess, my friend interested to know steps after DD encashment.

Suggest you to kindly recheck with bank. As its creating in doubt in everybody's mind.

Well if every one is confused I am sorry, When I said DD is cashed I meant to say that Standard charges for DD are applied for the outward remittance. So does this mean the same now I am confused with your statements.

DD cased in less than 2 weeks , actually 10 days !!

You are right. Respect for each of us. But come on please help each other don't confuse or mislead each other. It is obvious that there is a mistake somewhere. If you are sincere, Check with your bank to verify the exact amount and the identity of the receiver.

Sorry guys, Drilled down to the charges of DD, I had mixed responses from bank so thought to ask the person who issued DD, Called him up and asked him to check. He said the charges are for DD for which I had taken, So now I am sure , My DD is not yet cashed. Sorry for confusion caused to all. Wish that DD will be charged by next month or so

Looks like there's a realistic chance for early October applicants to have their CC charged by the end of this year!

I am an Oct 9th applicant, trust this falls under 'early October'
