Hi Friend,

I have applied for NOC 2263 and courier shows that my application was delivered to CIO on 1st octo 2014
And I have no idea my DD got encashed or not, my question is how do we get UCI number?? I called
CIC but the represantative advice me she can't give me UCI number and I have to wait for the email from CIO,
Is this correct that they can't provide me UCI number?? What else I can do to get my UCI number??

I am also the applicant whose application was received on 1st Oct. 2014. But the payment was deducted by the draft on 17th Dec. Until now, I still have not received my UCI number.

I am dont quite understand why CIC seem to bypass PER for applicants earlier than 29th Oct.
If until 30th Jan no PER comes, its about time I make a call to them and ask for file number.

i am sure that there is something wrong with the working process of CIC. Perhaps we can get the confirmation email from VO directly without the PER.

Here is my timeline:

App recv: 8 oct
Noc: 3233
Money Order encashed: 19 jan( according to cic e-mail)
PER: 26 Jan

Try to call CIC on their customer service number, they will give you your UCI number and you can
Check your status, if it show "in process" then you don't have to worry. That is what I did as well called CIC and got my UCI number and checked the status. I am sure if they have deducted the money, I don't think there should be any problem in your application, we will receive PER soon.

Stay positive.

They generate UCI number after they charged your application and with that number you can track your application online and if the status shows "in process", and if u click on that, it will show we received your pr application on so and so date, that means everything is fine and sooner or later you will receive PER email.

CIC ASSIGN UCI TO EVERY FILE'' WHETHER ACCEPTED OR REJECTED...

IMMIGRATION FILE NUMBER IS ASSIGNED IF FEES IS CHARGED....
