I haven't received PER yet, but my ECAS status went Alive today and is showing in process. I had my UCI no. from my previous TRV.

Does this mean that PeR will be issued soon or it doesn't matter and still chances of NER are there?

Hello All, our per dropped about 30 minutes ago. Can't believe they are working on Sunday.
App received 15th October
Noc 2281
DD encashed on 18th December according to per mail

Was worried when I noticed an app received on the 17th got per on Friday.

I was freaking out because my ECAs had been live since January 13th but no PER mail.... UNTIL NOW!!!!

My timelines:

NOC: 2172
CC Charge: Dec 18th
ECAS status live: Jan 13th
PER: Jan 18th

BTW the PER mail was sent to my representative's (my dad) email address.

for PER current wait time is around 97 days.

My DD was sent through Centrum a third party currency issuer in India (like thomas cook), I called them to check if my DD has been encashed, after my request, they would notify me by e-mail once it is done. So apparently it hasn't been cashed yet

Incase of rejection how long does it take for the file to be sent back?

in case of rejection the file will take around 2-3 months to reach India according to the agencies.
But in my Personal experience my first file which received rejection and had been sent back in September has not yet reached till date.
And dont lose hope sometimes DD encashment never gives any notifications.
Sometimes they cant track it so wait for another 10 days.
Or you can send a case specific enquiry email to check your application status.
I sent a case specific enquiry to get to know the status of my first application and they replied me in 40 days.
