Don’t know my file is also From Nov 2019.
As I get to know that Canada called there Canadian visa officer back to canada from Delhi as in India Coronavirus is too much.
They was just working with limited staff.

So Don’t know how long they gonna take Now .
It’s only wait thing right now
From where you heard that?

So my husband had cancelled his visa and had moved to India from Bahrain because I had to leave to come to Canada. He wants to go back now and try to get a job back there while our kids remain in India. How will this affect our application? Should I just have to send a webform with the details of an address change?

Hi Friends, I have a family emergency and am required to visit my family. I have gone through some threads on this forum but I am seriously in need of many opinions.

Is it ok to visit my family for few months. Really not sure how many months. My mother is ill and want to be with her.

What is the best thing I should do so as to not affect my spousal sponsorship process ? Do I need to inform IRCC about this ? or is it ok not to ?. Please help.

Info on my timeline -
Received AOR1 and sponsorship approval in Dec 2019.
CSQ approved in July 2020. (Im a quebec resident).
My GCMS notes state that the Sponsor eligibility is complete and passed. However, PA eligibility, security etc not started.

PS:, Sorry, im posting the same question in multiple threads. I just need as many opinions as I can get (I'm in desperate situation.)

It is not a problem if your travel does not affect your PR status. I.e if u recently got your PR, then it is not a problem - provided you will be staying for atleast 2 years in Canada for your PR renewal. If you got your PR long back and lived outside of the country, then it may be a problem if you are unable to qualify for your PR extention.

Firstly, thanks for your reply. I will ensure that I will meet the 2 year obligation and thats not a problem.

With all due respect, may I ask on what basis its fine to travel ?. Have you personally come across anybody who did this and still got their spousal PR. Please, any pointers to credible info will help.

Make sure you will bring back your mother medical hospital certificate or any proof certificate your mother was ill. You will be considered exempt.i don't work for ircc. I can't disclosure my identity but let you know I am ontario province employee. You can use that certificate in court if ircc refused your sponsorship application because of your travel. Hope it helps.

Sorry I have a question and trying to explore my options.

It will be difficult to return to Canada looking at her critical condition.

What do you think about the following options -
1) Raise a case specific web enquiry and get an authorisation from IRCC to travel.

2) Travel with a frequency of every 2 months for a travel duration of 1 month each time. ( really not sure about this because of the covid situation ).
