Hi Phoona,

I am not sure of how to answer this. But if you are not withdrawing your application, you need not to worry because the letter said that if you wont withdraw, there is no need for you to reply.

As with the date of application, I am not sure how the VO prioritizes the application. Albert_alo applied in 2005 a few months earlier than I, but he already received his passport request while I am still waiting for the medical request. What i mean is, there are factors on why other people are being prioritized. One factor may be the city they will be landing in or the job skill.

Zsashimi

I agree to what Zsashimi wrote. if you are still interested, then no need to reply. just keep on hoping/praying that soon you'll receive an update as regards to your application. That's what we did.. and now we are just waiting for the return of our passports with maple leaf stamped on it.. God bless.

Sheraig,
is your skill not included in the new list of the fast track system? you could apply for the fast track system so you won't wait the way we are waiting

Hi Fellows,

...a new member but in the same boat as your are into.

My application was received at CHC on 4th Feburary 2008 under "Simplified application process" and I am not sure if it's
same old system you are talking about or I've been unlucky by a margin of few days/weeks????

The application status is "In Process" ever since.

Anyways, in response to my recent query at another thread, some good fellow shared the following information to track the real status legally.
Look at following message:

mr rana,

order CAIPS now. Read this post of ali_green

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/full-documents-sent-in-april-2010-t38413.570.html

that service only takes 27 days. I think munni and others should order CAIPS now, thic will give them a clear idea at which stage their case is halted.

I hope it helps someone here.
Best wishes to all and I hope you all hear something promising on your case.

regards

CAIPS- Computer Assisted Immigration Processing system. it is a system used by the Canadian Immigration Offices to process visa application. CAIPS file will have valuable information on the processing of your Canadian permanent residence application. thanks

Dear Albet,

Thanks for reply.

Now how one can get access to CAIPS ? Please let me know about it in detail.
