@ rcosing- we passed ours last june 2005, so we have to wait few more months to receive an update? didn,t you receive a letter back then from CIC giving you option to withdrwa your application or to continue it? we did have that letter, but we decide to continue it, anyways update me thanks god bless!

We did receive the letter that gave us the option to withdraw our application. That was, I think, way back late '09. It was only last May '10 that we received another letter (docs update; IELTS, financials, etc..). I'm starting to get frustrated in the long stretches between letters/updates. Everything, you know, "Plan B" and "Plan C" are on hold because of this. Hope you get to receive the document update request soon.

@rscosing- u know what we continue our plan B , i grab the opportunity to go here in canada to be a LICP. In God's grace, i am going to apply for our PR next month, i dont know what happen with our FSW application, i hope i dont know may be my application as PR under LICP will be faster than the application last 2005, let's keep our fingers crossed! keep us updated!

Hi everyone. we also applied under old system. we submitted our application last oct 2004 and god a reply from the embassy on FEb 2005. last 2008, we got a letter if we are still interested with our application or would like to withdraw it. of course we are interested thus we did not reply to the said letter. February 2010, we got another letter informing us to send the updated documents: application, proof of funds, payment for right of permanent residence fee. we did send those documents and sometime may of 2010, we received the request for medical and did it last june. Now, we are waiting for the outcome of the said request. Hopefully, we'll get the PPR(passport request) soon.. So, to all of you who are still waiting, don't worry.. it will come. it takes a lot of patience. Let us always hope and pray for the good news! God bless..

Full Docs sent : Nov 2009
Medical Request: May 2010
Medical Done + RPRF: July 01 2010
PPR : July 26 2010
Time Given to submit passport: within 45days
waiting for renewed passport;;;;;;;; :-*

Visa Office : CHC London
Location : Dubai, UAE

Great progress! I wonder why I haven't received any letter from the embassy. I applied in Manila March 2005 and received the AOR April, which is also seen in Ecas. Congrats in advance!
