All those applicants applied under old system(before Feb,2008)

what can we do to remind the CIC that they must make a move for our application?

I think awaiting new rules will help us as the CIC might take some strict steps in ner furture to reduce the backlog. I have read the following item from one of the post.

I am an applicant of Apr 2007 at CHC London. To inquire about the status of my immigration application, I sent an email to London CHC and today they replied saying that the file is waiting for review by Immigration Officer.

I have been getting the same reply since last 3 months. Its frustrating to know that the same CHC who claimed that they are ready to process our application one year back, has still not touched our documents.

AOR : Jul 2007, Doc Req : May 2009, Doc Sent : Jun 2009. Waiting since then.

Any updates on the status of pre-2008 applicants.
 
Hi all,
I have received my Caips this morning....
I think they screwed up with my NOC,
I am a certified ERP - Supply Chain Consultant (SAP SCM - Procurement/materials management)
and they have given me NOC 1225 (Purchase officer)???

What should I do?, do I leave it as is?

Also on points section, they have given me 71 points in total, but the break down only reflects 10 for age and all the rest in 0-zeros
what does this mean?

I had applied PR (skilled worker category) under old system in NOV 2004, got file number in march 2005, later i received a generic letter from CIC New Delhi in Dec 2008 requesting my interest in immigration to Canada, which was replied by me in JAN 2009, then after there is no correspondence from CIC New Delhi about the progress of my file, ECAS online status shows "In Process".

Hi. In caips notes what does your PSDEC say? is it 0 or is it 1? Any other fields filled like SELDEC? Please share.

CIC is unfair in its decision to sideline applicant who file their application under the old rule. If indeed CIC is sincere, it should have been first come first serve. How does CIC explain the fact that applicant who filed their application on Jan 2009 get their visa while those of us who failed our application in 2005 are still waiting. Someone should tell CIC to reconsider this decision. This is the BIGGEST APARTHEID in the face of the earth. What crime did applicants who submitted under the old rule commit ?
My humble suggestion to CIC is that in compliance with the new ministerial instruction, CIC should identify applicant who meet the current requirement and whose application are still pending
I got a job from a Canadian employer in Dec 2008 and I was to resume in Canada in June 2010. In Jan 2009. I submitted the letter of employment to the my visa office. Till date , I did not hear from them. Please tell me . DID I NOT QUALIFY UNDER THE NEW RULE?
I agree with some one in this form who said that IMMIGRATION AND VISA RULE ARE NEVER FAIR

i would like to suggest u to apply with new policy and don't withdraw ur previous case. God forbid if u have any problem in ur new case then ur prevoius case will be in the way. i am also in the same boat my previous case is in process and now i have applied in fast track. i think u can't withdraw ur money now because u have already received ur letter of continue interest last year in which embassy mentioned that u can withdraw ur case within 90 days and now this time is over. don't think about ur previous case and go ahead.
