I feel exactly the same. How do we contact our MP? Just find out who it is according to my address and email a plea for help? I feel stupid asking but that’s another thing this process has caused, brain fog and confusion.
I don't feel it is much helpful to contact MP. According to GCMS note I got, MP just send an email to IRCC and which will be reply in a regular way like a webform. Actually, MP won't push IRCC for you.
What my MP does is asking me to wait, wait, wait.
So frustrated.

My only advice is do your homework. Even if someone recommends a lawyer to you make sure you check their case history. Go on Canlii and see if that lawyer has ever represented someone at IAD. Do they have experience with cases similar to your case. We did not do our homework, our lawyer came to us as a referral....big mistake. She never had a case in front of IAD and she was so nervous. Weeks before our case she wasn't prepared, didn't have a plan. I kept researching similar cases on Canlii and sending them to her. I basically prepared my own case. So, please do as my research as you can on whoever you choose as your lawyer. In the end we paid her over $7000 for submitting paperwork to IAD as she did nothing during the hearing. If your case is simple just get an Immigration Consultant....much cheaper.

Yes we had a consultant. We had our hearing 3/31/21. Now awaiting the decision.

Just 5 days until our hearing on April 6, My lawyer just got an email from IAD that our case was postponed. There is no available member to hear our case. Not sure when our next date will be. My lawyer will work on it on it next week. So sad right now this is our second postponement

so sorry to hear...we had the same thing happened. Hearing was scheduled to March and it was moved to September.

I just checked our GCKEY for about the millionth time, and under Current Status it had changed from REFUSED to APPLICATION/PROFILE UPDATED but I couldn’t open it “bad gateway” error. Now I tried again and the Current Status says REFUSED again. I took a screenshot of it so I know it happened, but does anyone know why this happened?

You can still see your old application in GCKEY? I thought the file closes after refusal then reopens when you win appeal. Sorry for the question I dont have Gckey...i only have ECAS.

Hello folks...i need an advice
My friend is a pr in canada. She got her pr in spetember 2018. In april 2018 she got married to a guy in canada(they had a court marriage)who is already a pr but did not inform ircc about the marriage. She got her pr in September 2018 and on her landing papers status was single. Thing turned wrong for her, she got divorce from her husband in dec 2019. Presently she is officially divorced. And thinking to get remarry. So my question is will there be any problem when she will sponser her future partner to canada bcoz she got married in between pr process and ircc was not informed about it.

Surely misrepresentation. But did she sponsor her exhusband? How did he get PR? How did she get PR?
