I read on another thread, some said his brother was allowed in yesterday. So if a brother was allowed to enter. Means a spouse will definitely be allowed in

Yesterday was before the formal measures took effect. Today or tomorrow might be different.

Further to the IRB’s Advisory Notice published on March 14th, 2020, and as a result of the evolving situation relating to COVID-19, this is to advise that the IRB is extending the suspension of all in-person hearings and mediations, other than detention reviews, until at least Monday, May 4th. https://irb-cisr.gc.ca/en/news/2020/Pages/covid-19-march20.aspx

Does anyone know if appeals are still being processed? I sent my letter to the Vancouver office expressing our request to appeal at the end of February , and other than the delivery notification have heard nothing.

It takes a while. I didnt get mine for about 6 weeks. As long as they confirmed delivery, you're good.

Thank you. They didn’t confirm...but I got the delivery notice from Canada Post. I’m just second guessing everything these days....very very stressful.

Yes, when I sent mine, I paid extra to be notified when it was signed for. It's worth it just for peace of mind.
