I won my appeal Nov 27th. Got approval letter in the mail in a week. Since then nothing. Am exhausted and anxious. I just want all this to be over
I know the feeling, we didn’t receive anything for a month plus it has been holidays so everything slowed down. Soon you should receive your requests!

3 years! What's your timeline?
I submitted the initial application February 2017. I applied for PR and Rehabilitation. The refusal was sent May 2018. The appeal started June 2018 and our first hearing was June 2019 (half-day) they didn’t book the requested translator, so we had to schedule a second hearing in September 2019 ( which ended up costing me an additional around $2500 ) we won at the hearing. It’s been a mess and I’m so anxious to get it over with.

I would like get help from someone who had ADR before how was their experience?

What is the blue book. Does it include the real reasons for rejection? Please explain

Ive been trying to figure this out as well. I recieved a letter within a week of sending my notice of appeal with refusal reason and request for documents. I think the blue book is a package of info from the IAD with all the info, reasons for refusal etc? I guess that comes after 120 days?

Blue book is a copy of your file and the notes the officer made during/ after your interview. You should get it mailed to you in 120 days "ish".

Does anyone know this? I have dual nationality, Pakistani and Canadian. After marriage, I had my National Identity Card updated in Pakistan and I decided to take my husband's name as my last name. I sponsored my husband a month later, so does having my(wife) last name different in Pakistan and Canada make any difference to application process for my husband??
