Hello Guys my full hearing is coming up and I’ll like to seek for more ideas about how the process goes and any tips on questions I should expect? Every piece of advice will be appreciated and what is the success rate of appeal cases?

this is what i get from our mp last week

We can provide you with the following details for your constituent about the status of an application to sponsor a spouse living outside Canada:

  • The application was received at the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga (CPC-M), Ontario, on July 24, 2019.
  • The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if the sponsored person (the applicant) meets the eligibility requirements.
    • the assessment for the applicant is still in process at the Canadian visa office in Colombo.
  • The medical examination results are on file and valid until August 11, 2020, for the applicant.
  • The criminality verifications are currently valid.
  • The security verifications have not been initiated.

What Assessment There Are Doing in Colombo
last year they are refuse our application and we appeal against visa officer decision and won this year
so why again they are re assessment and how long its took
this is very irritating procedure

This whole process is inhumane, first they took 16 months to refuse our application and after winning appeal its been almost 6 months and they are still assessing application. I can name at least couple of applications which are completely fraud but their visas were approved in a 12-14 months. So their assessment is complete bullshit.

I don't know for sure, but I read the success rate for appeals is 80-90%. I have ADR scheduled for Dec. 2 - success rate for ADR is only supposed to be 50%.
