It is more about what you have done with your spouse, if you can provide better documentation that cover the below then less tricky questions will be asked.

The genuineness of the marriage is based on a number of factors as identified in Chavez v. Canada (Minister of Citizenship and Immigration).[4] These can include, but are not limited to, such factors as:
• how the relationship developed;
• the intent of the parties to the marriage;
• the length of the relationship;
• the amount of time spent together; conduct at the time of meeting, at the time of an engagement and/or the wedding;
• behaviour subsequent to a wedding; the level of knowledge of each other’s relationship histories;
• levels of continuing contact and communication;
• the provision of financial support; the knowledge of and sharing of responsibility for the care of children brought into the marriage;
• the knowledge of and contact with extended families of the parties; and
• the level of knowledge about each other’s daily lives.

I am not quite clear what you are asking, but if you are going to renew your passport just send them the bio page through web form indicate that you just renewed your passport.

Order your GCMS notes so that you can see what the hold up is.
I contact with my MP two months ago he told me that your file was transfer to London visa office for processing
So I contact with London visa office they reply me that you application is still in Ottawa
Again I call to immigration I talk with agent he told me that yes you application is here and we put all your information in your application and most probably it’s process here so after 20 days again I call to cic immigration and the agent told me that your file was in London visa office I again contact with London visa office I got like this reply
Please be advised that once this application has been returned to London, it will be assigned to an immigration officer for onward processing. We will be in contact with you in due course
It’s was the whole reply

Hello all. My husband's visa was denied. I got a lawyer fo start the appeal. He said he filed the appeal on the 30th of may 2019. I thought by now I would have received confirmation of my appeal. But I haven't. I called IAD office. And they said my appeal file hasn't been created yet. Does it take this long to get a confirmation and for them to open an an appeal file. Please does anyone know. Thank you
