Hello Guys,

I need your help please!!!

I got my ppr last October 11th and i am about to submit my passport anytime soon. I was confused on the items that i need to include in the Passport Request Document Package. On the Passport Request Letter, it mentioned about four (4) items ( 1. Copy of Passport Request Letter, 2. Passport, 3. two (2) Photos, 4. Completed and signed Appendix B) which are needed to be put together in one single package for submission to Visa Application Centre (VAC vfsglobal Manila)

But on VAC vfs global website, it mentioned about Applicable Fees by bank draft/manager's cheque and VAC Consent Form. Do i need to secure manager's cheque and VAC Consent Form at this point? What's the total amount for manager's cheque? Where can i get that VAC Consent Form?

I am dealing with VAC vfs global Manila Philippines. Can anyone please tell me the final documents that i need to include in the package for submission by courier?

1. Copy of Passport Request Letter
2. Passport
3. Two (2) Photos
4. Completed and signed Appendix B

or

1. Copy of Passport Request Letter
2. Passport
3. Two (2) Photos
4. Completed and signed Appendix B
5. Applicable Fees by bank draft/ manager's cheque
6. VAC Consent Form

Which is which? Please enlighten me. Thank you.

Hello there,

I just got email from Ottawa, they opened my case and they asked me to update these forms: IMM 008, IMM 5669, IMM 5406, IMM 5476, a copy of the biometric page, new medical examination, update police certificate.

They asked me to submit all these documents by email to Ottawa.

My questions are:

1) How do I get the biometric page?
2) Filling the form IMM 5669

what option should I check?

d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de selection du Quebec (CSQ) or applicant to the Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?
e) been refused admission to, or ordered to leave, Canada or any other country?

I would like to add that after my sponsor application was refused I applied for a Temporary Resident Visa and it was rejected also.

should I check d and e??

Thanks for your help

In this particular context, I think the biometric page is the page on your passport with your passport number, photo, name, date of birth, nationality, and other information. Should include the page immediately facing the biometric page as well.

You would be (d), unless you were stopped or detained at the border and was turned back there, or made it inside the country and issued a removal order. You can provide details in the space provided below. eg: TRV Application # XXXXXXXXXX - refused; PRV Application # XXXXXXXXXX - refused, allowed on appeal

I am quite surprised that they would accept these documents, especially the security certificate, by email. Please check the wording for the request carefully.

Edited to add .... I am thinking that they are requesting that the originals be sent to your Visa Office (including original passport), with copies being emailed to Ottawa. Could that be the case?

Anyways, I am just guessing at this point, as our case is still in appeal. If anyone that has actually been through this step responds with a proper answer, I will delete this post.

What about (E) TRV application ref. shoul we write that in below plz let us know thx.

Refused TRV application would still be (d). (e) sounds much more serious.

(d) includes TRV:

d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de selection du Quebec (CSQ) or applicant to the Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

Why don't you call the Vancouver IAD office. Give them your IAD appeal case number.
Your lucky to be in Van. I am in sask and I keep calling. Last week they tell me in spring my lawyer will get a call. Meanwhile, we file June 22, 2015.

Hey guys is there any one who waited so long for the judge decision after appeal it's already 9 weeks passed and there z no decision on my appeal yet m so worried bout what ll happen

You could call the immigration office and ask if there is a decision or when you might get one.

Putting together information for our ADR Dec 20th and was wondering what pictures I should include IE Should I send pictures to portray our relationship from the beginning or just pictures since the denial? Or give them an over view ?

Thank you MaryL for your information. I really don't think it would help to call IAD to rush them a earlier hearing date, but I will talk to my lawyer about that. Other friends, please share your experiences if you think it would help to call. Thanks a lot.

No you can't rush them, but they can give you a rough idea when appeal can be heard
