Send a case specific inquiry to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and find out what the status of your case is. Be sure to quote your UCI number in the subject line.

So, you won the appeal in Jul, 2015 and they only contacted you 9 months later in April 2016? Is this correct?

We have been waiting for over 5 months to be contacted too.

Many people on this site are contacted within a month of winning the appeal. Did anyone from CIC explain why it took so long to contact you after you won?

oh i know...it is so hard...i have went on stress leave at the beginning of the year...i was out of commission for 2 months, anxiety, heart palpitations and stuff...doctor said it was all due to stress. i am better now and trying to remind strong but i feel exhausted...really i can not imagine what they are thinking..and why are they saying that since we had appeal there is no maximum time for processing our file..really its hard..but trying to stay strong here. i feel so badly like contacting the security agency to check on our file or going to the mp again but i dont want to annoy anybody ...do you mean you have sent all the documents from the hospital to ottawa? really i hope somebody there is half human.

Yeah they contacted me after 9 months.
I hope they send passport request before my medical expires in September.
I am just curious if they can consider that how long its been.

Usually the next step is passport request. Hopefully it won't be too long from now though. I don't think they will wait until your medical expires knowing that it is expiring in September.n

Do they explain to you why youve been denied?

The denial email or letter will have basic reasons for denial however if you order the GCMS notes there should be more details.

Hi everyone. Can anyone explain to me why cic refund the right of permanent resident fee after my husband paid them in April. I was asked to pay the rprf and also to submit medical and police clearance in April the 16th in an email letter shortly after my husband won the appeal in March. Until may 19th my husband's lawyer received a ready for visa email requesting my passport and 2 photos. I sent my passport 2 weeks ago. My ecas status changed to decision made already. Why cic returned the fee now I just don't get it. Will that effect Singapore office issuing the visa? :( ::)

Could it be that the fee was paid when the original application was sent in?

Once it says decision made most likely they already sent your passport with visa back. How long ago did it change to decision made?

guys anyone tell me process of filing appeal, as my wife app is refused ( they said our marriage was not genuine..)
