Hi Maddants, I am happy for you, at least is moving. Sorry not much I can help with this question, cause i will be behind you still. May I ask you a quesiton: you said you received the notice for updated medical by an email ? You are the applicant, right ? I thought usually CIC sends all the requests by post mail to the sponsor in Canada, was that correct? Since my husband and I both left our gmail email address to CIC, but now it is blocked in China, so we really hope the notices will be sent to my husband's address in Canada, his daughter will take care of it for us.

hey annie...ottawa send me the medical request in my email which im the applicants and my wife is the sponsor...best thing for u to do is inform cic that your email has been ban in china.

thanks Maddants, the good news is I paid $12 per month so I will get VPN which means im able to access gmail in China now, problem solved. Thank you so much for the advice, hope you figure out whats going on with yours soon. Best regards.

Congratulations Maddants!! I believe they only need your Medical at this moment. Better to call Ottawa office and confirm saying you have your police clearance along that if you should send. Good Luck!

thank you my friend..... i just decide to send every thing to them and i just wrote them a letter. If told them if they need anything else to just let me know.....so monday they should get my package and once they update my ecas saying medical recieve then i will know that they got everthing....

i thought the same thing too...since i put my email on the my application they say i give the permission to cont me threw my email.

Line 1: application recieve and started to process on dec.2 2015
Line 2: sponsorship application recieved and started process on june 26 012

Had out Full Hearing today and appeal is allowed !!!

congrats on winning your appeal wintersnow.....welcome to the club. The worst part is over so nust keep praying to god that the is come quick...im so happy for you ... i know the feeling of winning the appeal

They send me medical request and i just se d the medical, police record, updated forms, and bio page of my passport....so once they get my medical and update ecas then i know they got everything in the package i sent them.... i know alot of ppl say i should wait until they request other things from me but im just following my instict my friend....that all.... i dont see it hurting my application at all because the will ask for them down the road and it would be time lost waiting on these ppl...i just showing them that i want to be reuntied with my wife since we been apart for so friggin long

I ma new in this forum, and looking forward to get some advice from you.

I just became a canadian citizen, but unfortunately my husband is loosing his PR card, because of not staying 2 years out of 5 years in canada to renew his PR.
we applied for his PR renewal with humanitarian and compationate request, but they sent us a letter that we have to apply for a PRTD through a visa office outside canada, and the visa office will decide about the meeting the residency requirements!!
It sounds to me that they just want to throw th edecision making (Refusal i think) on someone else?!!
now i see two optiones for me:

1) I think if we apply for a pRTD it will be rejected, then if we go for apeal we have to maybe spend 12-18 months waithing for apeal tim and maybe rejection after that.(means loosing PR status)!

2) or if we dont go for apeal , he will loose the PR status after 60 days and then
the main qouestion is that:

If I apply for his PR agian with spousal sponsorship,
in which circumstances It might be rejected ?
this is my main concern

please let em dd that i just left canada and living with my husband now outside canada.

I deeply appreciate your advice and time.

Hi Mohsoh, it's been a long wait for you and your partner. I think you should involve mp from your area to check where your file stands. Sometime they lose files.

Yah my wife meet mp several times and on 30 December the mp told us that our file is in Ottawa and everything is going smoothly all we need is to wait, I don't know what to do like this waiting is killing me it's been 10 months since we won appeal .
Did u got any update and what's going on ur file plz share cuz we got the same timeline any news on ur file .

you are very welcome winters snow......once the visa office request medical or police record from u the n they will activate back your ecas...... this is what i did.... just count 45-50 working days not included the weekend for them to reopen back your file....that is the average amount of days that they take to start on a person application u wont need any new u c i number at all
