yes i hired a lawyer from the start till now. are you from vancouver ?
I am from Toronto.

Is anyone from Alberta? I'm really starting to lose faith in all of this and would like some kind of good news. I applied for my appeal end of September I did receive a letter saying that recieved it all and everything in October. I know they have 120 days to transfer the information from cic to the appeal board, I have a lawyer, but I'd like to know how long people have been waiting in Alberta. Anyone else???

Don't your faith, CIC is really giving families like us headaches. They are welcoming hundreds of Refugees and funding their living expenses in Canada. They reject our beloved ones who will be really contributing to Canada out the border. They never have sympathy on us, being tortured day to day from living apart. Hopefully you will be reunited in Alberta ASAP.

Hey Mrsalcala.... how are you doing.. I hope that you are in the best of health. Im not in alberta but what I can say is that we had our hearing in Toronto and it took close to 2 yrs for us to get win or appeal and we had full hearing... you in alberta will be faster because Vancouver office is working very faster than Toronto office. a lot of ppl that goes thru the Vancouver office get there full hearing within 1 yr. and little bit so don't worry you will have your hearing before you know it....make sure that you and your spouse go over everything about you relationship and most important please remember the important dates them like when you got married, when the first time your spouse say I love you, thing like that....most ppl that lose there case is because they contradict themselves....just tell your spouse to be on the same page with you and if you are going to tell a lie, make sure the spouse tell the same lie if you know what I mean....I hope this help you out. If you need anything just ask and someone will be on this forum to help you out...

What going on Mylord.... first of I want to say sorry that you or your spouse got denied...I you going to appeal from the Toronto office...the appeal will take about 2 yrs. for a full hearing and if you get an adr hearing then you can look at 6-8 month once you appeal.... If you appeal is from Vancouver office then your appeal should be about 1 yr and a little bit and adr should be about 5-6 months....I hope this help you out....if you have any more question feel free to ask.

I'm not an expert here but I can help you as much as I got to know form this site.

1st are you from Toronto?

If your answer is yes then you can call The IAD office to find out whats going on with your appeal.

(Here is their number 416-952-7547) "You need to tell them your application number which you got after submitting your sponsorship application.

The application number is Like F0000?????????.

If you still not able to find out about your application number You can also find it in your refusal letter.

2nd thing when U filed you appeal Did you get a conformation letter or Email from them?

Best regards
