Where are you depends on the length of your hearing date, why were u inadmissible, i know a lawyer, very good, that did my appeal, but very pricey.

Agreed. You need to tell us why you are inadmissible. There may be no point in appealing if you can't enter Canada for another few years due to a criminal offence.

Hi I have a question. After the appeal was won, and Ottawa asks for updated application, forms and police clearance. They give you 60 days to respond. Once they receive the new forms etc. How long until they ask for the passport for the visa? Here is my time line. Won appeal march 17, 2014. Notified in writing April 22, 2014. Ottawa sends letter requesting new docs dated July 31, 2014. Ecas updated to application received sept. 30, 2014(which just happens to be the day after the 60 day mark). Any thoughts please reply

I did not put file number on the envelope. The email that I received from Ottawa did not mention that it just said I need to put file number on the correspondence. So I put it in the cover letter. I don't think its a problem ? is it?

I had no idea that you could bring a witness to the ADR hearing. I thought it was just for full hearings? This is something new to me! If it is possible I have many witnesses who would come.

hi dear
if you want you can take witnesses. but you have to inform them. but if you got an ADR it means you did not meet a big issue. but do the best..... good luck

Hey Preetsarab18

Sorry to hear about your rejection.
1)well you have 30 days to appeal from the date mentioned on the rejection letter
2)after appeal you will get a confirmation letter from IAD they received your appeal notification
3)it take 120 days for the embassy overseas to send you copy of the file what you submitted back to Canada
4) if your case has been selected for an ADR then you will get a date in the mail if you have a lawyer at that point then your lawyer will inform you
5)if your case has not been selected for ADR then it will be for a full hearing
6) start collecting lots and lots of evidence to prove that the visa officer is wrong on what ever the section she/he rejected you on and be prepared to answer at the ADR or the full hearing why you haven't appealed at the first rejection..

good luck hope this nightmare will end soon...
