Hi Guys

Received booklet on July 28, 2014 and ADR date is set for November 17, 2014, Toronto office. Don't know what to expect. Only had one refusal which was section A39 financial refusal. As I am currently working now don't know what they will question me about. Any one have previous experience that can guide me? Any suggestions will help. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Can you please tell me - How long it took you to get the Blue book after submitting form for the Appeal? I applied this month.

Anyone please tell me how we will know that if we are going to have a full or half hearing? I just called the receptionist from the Immigration board. She gave me the case officer name. And transferred to another receptionist. This receptionist told me that they don't give case officer phone number. And she told me that it will take another year. I am totally confused. This means I am going to have a full hearing? Is these receptionist wrong or right? Why did they give me the case officer's name if they going to give me a full hearing? Any idea? :(

you might not be hearing from them for a while. They will let you know. My appeal date (full hearing) was August 2012. I only found this out April 2012.

The only exception is if they grant you ADR

I think the lady at IB was assuming you will get a hearing and that's why she told you 1 year. Depending on city.. Toronto....it is 2 year + wait

Can you call them and ask them about your ADR hearing date if you still haven't heard when it'll be yet? Mine is the Vancouver office. I'm just curious. :)

Thank you gsize! I will probably wait then in that case!

Just wondering if anyone can clarify when you receive your blue book does it state if you'll have a fill hearing or adr? just asking because the one I received for my wife says
Pursuant to s. 30(3)(a) the Immigration appeal Division Rules, You are required to serve the MInister's Counsel, at least 20 days before the date set for the hearing, a copy of all documents that you intend to produce at the hearing.

Also the File does not seem to have all the information that we submitted to our imm consultant I have a scanned copy of what he says he submitted for us but I don't know what's accurate. If something should have been submitted originally is there a way to confirm if they have it or is the blue book only a partial file? Need to know if I need to resubmit pictures/receipts etc

You should call them again and ask for case officer number. I was given case officer number right away. Tell them you want to discuss few things with the case officer. If you have received your blue book case officer should be able to let you know what are your chances of getting ADR/full hearing. What is the name of your case officer?

Blue book cant mention if you are going to have adr or full hearing. This comes from your original office and adr/hearing gets decided in Toronto/Vancouver (where ever you apply for your appeal) so it impossible for your original office to know at that point. This is a general statement what you are reading. Yes, they do not send everything. I also have a lot of things missing in my file which I had submitted for sure. You don't have to resubmit everything but may be just important once like few marriage photos etc. But take them with you just in case.

1- How long does it take to hear from IAD after you win your ADR on average?
2- What happens after ? it has been 3 weeks since my adr but I have not heard back from them.
3- Can I apply for TRV for my hubby if so what are the chances

Curious to know Thanks
