HI ALL,

THE TIME LINES , AND ALL ATHORE THINGS , REGARDING THIS METTER THANKS,
LOVE BIRD 43.
hi love bird 43, I'm new to this forum. I'm from Philippines. my concern is, although we haven't receive a refusal letter yet but I know we are heading there because the immigration raised a question as to how come I did not include my husband in my application in 2005. but at that time we were not married yet. but we lived together before while I was still residing in the Philippines. the reason why did not declare him its because we were not married at that time and I thought I am not entitled to include him in my application. if it was a mistake on my part I can assure it was an honest mistake. I'm not well informed when it comes to common law or conjugal matters. I really thought I can only sponsor him if we were married at that time. do you think I have a chance when I file for an appeal? if only I had known then I could have done it differently. and I sent them a letter to explain my side but I have a feeling that won't be enough. thank you for your time..

I wil do it on own too cause a lawyer does not guarantee you getting your visa either ..but i will go see a immigration lawyer for advise it cost $25.00 for 30 min..

Yes, they are quite expensive, but your life, your marriage, your future are worth much more! If you have a difficult case or a case with red flags, I do recommend that you hire someone. You may borrow money or find a sideline to pay this professional. You cannot miss your shot. If you lose your appeal, the consequences will be more devastating.

thank you habibti :) I really appreciate it. actually we didn't get the refusal letter yet but I'm pretty sure we are heading there. we received an email, they raised question as to how come I did not declare him as my common law partner when I applied for my PR in 2005. but we were not married yet and I thought I am not entitled to include him in my application. it was a mistake on my part but it was an honest mistake. I misunderstood the whole thing. now we will pay the price. I feel so stupid. if only I had known I could have done it differently :(

Hi Double Rainbow,
It was ADR. In ADR hearing they told my wife that we are convienced that our marriage is genuine and after 2 weeks we got letter of the same. We appeal in Mid of Nov last year, received notes in March starting, then in april 2nd week we got letter that its ADR we gonna get and hearing date they gave was in june 1st week. In june end they told us that our appeal is successful. In july first week they asked to redo medical, PCC and fill out few forms. So we send them by july mid. in Aug end they asked to sumbit my passport through VFS and last week i got the visa.

If you need any more info pls feel free to ask. Wish you all the best for your appeal.
