Thanks for reply...

sorry there is confusion .. I just appealed .. and waiting for hearing date, i believe its going to be long wait game as per forum.

I am in Toronto, and I had tried to reach to MP but his telephone operator didn't listen anything when I called him. the simple reply was "this matter is under court decision so, we cann't help in this matter".

Feel helpless, as I cann't do anthing to make my life simple.

Hope for best and stay calm :)

I do not know if you hired a lawyer but if not then gather all your evidence and send it to them beforehand to save time and maybe winning your appeal without hearing

ok, now it is more clear. I dont believe in sugar-coating so I will be upfront. I filed my appeal in Toronto 2010. I had to wait 28 months for a hearing date. (they will tell you 12-18 months) There is a chance that you will get an ADR which will mean count on about 6 months from now. ADR is given when there is one or two issues that can be resolved quickly. Im afraid when they tell you 'not genuine" count on a long wait time. If I were you, I would be packing up and be with your wife. To be apart from your loved ones is very cruel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is another option. Not that I wish to confuse you....you can re-apply. :o

Thanks @gsize, you are not being harsh, you are just saying what is going to happen so, feel free to share your experience in future.

Really appreaciate you honsety, I am planning to go back but just waiting for my canadian passport. If I get the passport then I can have hope to return back after this all shit.

I have hired a lawyer from green n speigal, seems like he is good professional lawyer till now :). Earlier I had hired the consultant who helped me taking my money and doing nothing... just sorry after result.

Is it ok to send my all proff to IRD, coz in interview ... VO was not ready to listen anything, he not even seen my marriage pic, reception pic, honeymoon pic or our honeymoon reservation.. only the question he was asking why there was less people in civil marriage as, we know there is no value for civil marriage in india. it was just done for paper purpose. I had applied for sponsership after our civil marriage.

Thanks forum for your suggestion ...

Can you send all evidence beforehand? I am waiting to see if I will be getting an ADR. Can someone answer this question please I am a little confused.

as far as I know, you need to wait to hear from them. They will contact you either for ADR or Hearing. Its a bumpy road.....try to keep busy...please let me know how I can help. I went through this nightmare winning my appeal August 2012. ???

Thank you very much. I filed an appeal on December 24th and I know I still have a long way to go , but I am preparing myself for that journey. This forum is truly a blessing!

Did you get a lawyer or you did it on your own?

neither......I used Immigration consultants for initial application and appeal.

I suggest you find a lawyer/Immigration consultant for Appeal. Its too important not too !! 8)

Finally I got my ackknowledgement letter from IRD after 4 week of filling the appeal letter, stated 120 more day to wait before I will hear something.

Time start again ..... :'(

boy, your post brought back a lot of memories.

I am so curious to see what the timeline is for Toronto. As you know, it was 28 months for me (from filing appeal to hearing date)

You might get an ADR but dont hold your breath.

I hope you get the member who heard my case. He was so compassionate ! There is compassion !!!!!

Off to Costa Rica to meet my partner next month. My file is in Ottawa awaiting processing (once again) 8)
