THANKS GOD!!! My husband had appointment this morning at the embassy. Here is his message: "Thanks to Allah, to you, to our representative and everyone who contributed to realize this dream. Congratulations habibti! I am happy to know that at last we're going to be together after so many obstacles. Everything was fine. I came to the visa office at 8:30. We were about 30 persons. They gave our passports and we sat to watch a movie talking about life in Canada's system; work, education, politics and some laws, nothing new or special and the movie was done in 1992 Smiley When the movie finished, a Moroccan woman came to deliver us visas on our passports and two copies of Permanent resident to give to the people of immigration in the airport of Montreal. There were some questions and she answered them. I am going to Casablanca to buy my suitcases Smiley I love you. 9 days inchaAllah and I will be in your arms."

That's awesome! This message should be framed and hung on every VO's wall around the world to encourage VOs to act smart and vigilant but with compassion and due diligence.

Hope you two make a great life together.

My wife will also soon be coming over. In fact if I had not already booked my trip for Chinese New Year, she would have been here on the next flight out of Beijing haha.

@ bbccanada: you may want to send an email to specific enquiry to ur visa office. One of the member did that after 1month of interview he got med request the very next day. I sent one friday expecting to hear monday or tuesday hopefully withh a goodnews.

My ecas changed to in process since my wife's interview on November 28th 2012. They said they started processing on January 10th 2013. Does that means a good news cos i was actually worried and waiting for decision made or some letter.

I have a similar situation as you, I am Moroccan lady living at Windsor Ontario, and my husband Moroccan too living at Casablanca. hi ''in process' is usually positive. my husband file went in process from 13december 2012(so 11days after interview) then requested remedical by email 27 december 2012(so 14 days after it went in process). Unless your case our file went in process pretty quick after interview. So i dont know if my timeline would be similar to yours, but you will probably hear from them within 3weeks. goodluck

Thanks Shiny88, i hope this is positive cos this thing has put all my plans on hold until i finally get a decision. Her medical has expired January 4 2013 so i am waiting to see what is next for us.

my wife was rejected yesterday at new delhi chc stating they do not think the marriage was genuiine and less people attended the wedding and they told her that why i did not got married to her when i engaged to her before landing ,the vo was just saying the marriage was small and we both are intercaste, i am gonna appeal just waiting for refusal letter, justwanna know how do i get my appeal letter anybody got experience please share also anybody suggest any good lawyer please suggest....

you should get the Appeal requirement with the rejection letter. Sometimes, I have read it does not, therefore you will need to download it. My understanding is that you will have 30 days to file the Appeal. It now largely becomes a waiting game. If you are in Toronto, count on 2 years unless you get an ADR.

Most appeal win. Some use lawyers, some use Immigration Consultant, some do it on their own. Its hard to give a reccomendation due to the fact that what works for one may not work for another.
