@shiny88 and Lovehurts, thanks for your advice! I am planning to go back to see my mp this week to contact the accra office. If that didn't work i will send them email to find out why it is taking long for them to make a decision after the interview.

I received a negative reply after my partners interview. It took about 9 weeks.

Just wanted to share that my husband had interview 2dec without decision, his file went ''in process'' 13december, he was sent remedical request 27dec by email which we never received. i was informed when i sent email to our visa office last friday asking why we dont hear anything for over one month after interview. So guys if you are waiting more than 3weeks ill suggest you to send email, maybe they sent an email for the next step that you missed or it was sent to a uncorrect email . In my case they sent to the right email id ,god knows why we havent received in our inbox. goodluck

That's a great suggestion, especially if you've ever changed your email or your lawyer has. Information doesn't always get changed everywhere, or so it seems. We didn't receive an email notification, or perhaps the many during the procedural fairness ordeal and it was because CIC sent to our lawyer's initial email upon our retaining him (he has since started his own practice). Man oh man, that was sure frustrating.

I suggest to anyone who is suspecting news, to also ask for their MP's assistance because they can find out if a request has been made. This has seemed to make communicating with the commissions easier because (maybe) dealing with you seems like less work. Oh, what a game it is!

Right, its frustrating, in my case the email ID was correct but i have no idea why it didnt reach our inbox, also nothing on junk mail. Now i hope they'll send back soon IF THEY FEEL LIKE READING THE ENQUIRY ::)

AND THIS LOVE BIRD IS FLYING THE COOP IN CANADA AND GOING OVER TO HUBBY'S COUNTRY. APPEALING AND BATTLING ABOUT WHETHER YOUR MARRIAGE IS "GENUINE" HOW BIZARRE. NOT FOR THIS GIRL. EXCITED TO BE GOING. WHAT A PAINFUL PROCESS SPOUSE SPONSERSHIP HAS BEEN. DESPITE GOVERNMENTS AGRRESSIVE EFFORTS TO BREAK A MARRIAGE THEY DID NOT SUCCEED. SO DIVORCING CANADA...NOT MY HUSBAND!

THANKS GOD!!! My husband had appointment this morning at the embassy. Here is his message: "Thanks to Allah, to you, to our representative and everyone who contributed to realize this dream. Congratulations habibti! I am happy to know that at last we're going to be together after so many obstacles. Everything was fine. I came to the visa office at 8:30. We were about 30 persons. They gave our passports and we sat to watch a movie talking about life in Canada's system; work, education, politics and some laws, nothing new or special and the movie was done in 1992 Smiley When the movie finished, a Moroccan woman came to deliver us visas on our passports and two copies of Permanent resident to give to the people of immigration in the airport of Montreal. There were some questions and she answered them. I am going to Casablanca to buy my suitcases Smiley I love you. 9 days inchaAllah and I will be in your arms."
