@shiny88, the ecas is still application recieve and nothing else since we sent in our application. I don't know what is going on and my wife's medicals expires next week. I have some many plans including travelling but this thing is holding me back hence i even prefer to recieve a refusal letter if that is that case than this waiting without any information. I think is better to start telling people yes or no at the interview so at least you wont wait for them to wast your time. I would like to wish everyone a marry chrismas and happy holidays.

i know how you feel, waiting for the unknown is hard specially because its close to final step. Its stressful not to know the decision it holds you from doing things that would do if the decision is known... :( Hope you have a good news coming ur way very soon. merry christmas u too :)

hi bbccanda I think if they wanted to refuse they will definatly right away
so hopes are good.for.ur case.i dont understabd honest wife and husband hav to suffer so much where as ppl with faje mariges are geting visas in blink of eye I am so depressed even after appeal they take so much time.Justis late is justic denied

Thanks Shiny88 and Lovehurts for your support and i really appreciated. I am also praying for everyone to hear a good news whether waiting for appeal, reprocessing or first sponsorship waiting for visa. i was a happy person before i started this immigration sponsorship thing and since then my life is always full of printing , organizing paper, calling here and there, sending papers by mailing plus the high level of stress. Not even mention the money spend but these immigration officers will try to discourage but God will not.

welome to the nightmare !!! Stay strong ! You will win !!!!!!!

A.A. I just need some advice from you. Here's my Timeline:

Oct 2008 Became PR
Jan 2011 Left for Pakistan and got Married
Mar 18 returned Canada
Apr 2011 Initially applied to CPC-Missisauga
May 2011 File transfered to ISD
Nov 2011 Left for Pakistan for giving my MBA final exams and visiting my wife.
Mar 2012 recieved call from Visa Officer on Wife's No. while I was on a visit to Pakistan requesting Police Clearance etc.
Apr 2012 provided VO @ ISD with Police Cert., updated forms, proof of my redience and my PP's Copies etc as requested by him.
May 10th 2012 returned to canada
May 2012 Decision made appeared on website and got excited, but it was start of a nightmare only
Jun 2012 Got refusal letter stating 'Since I believe Sponsor does not reside in Canada and he did not do so when he filed the application till the day decision is made. Specifically from Nov 2011 till present i.e. 20 May 2012 so he is not eligible to sponsor his wife'

Jul 2012 filed an appeal
Nov 2012 Won Appeal

Now the concern is Since August 2011 The ECAS has been 'In Process' till May 2012 when it changed to 'Decision Made'. and remained same throughout appeal process.

Now just a week b4 i received IAD's letter about my BIG WIN it again changed into 'In Process' and remained so till 20th Dec, 2012. From then onwards it is saying 'Decision Made' again.

Please guide me what are chances of a Positive decision by VO in this case and how much are the chances of Falling again into xxxxxx Judicial Review thingy by the VO.

Regards.

I just received the letter yesterday said my PR under common-law has been refused, but no appeal form. Will they send to my boyfriend later? How long should it be? Or where can we find the appeal form? Thanks

You gotta download form from http://www.irb-cisr.gc.ca/Eng/tribunal/form/Pages/spon_par.aspx and attach a copy of decision letter recieved by you as well. The form has to be filled and signed by Sponsor. and they demand copy of decision sent to the SPonsor for filling Appeal. But I filed mine with my Wife's decision letter's copy just to jump in the ques earliest. It did work. :)

thank you so much.
im really confused now. my boyfriend got a letter today says that he met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.
what does that mean?
same date letter, and different meaning.
what should i do
anyone has the same experience?

Brother, Did you contact your case officer in IAD? or canada border agency? Also try to contact M.P asking for your case inquiry from Islamabad. I hope Inshallah you would get through soon.

My husband application was refused in Port of Spain. I met my husband here in canada back in December of 2010. We Got married December 2011 and his application was refused in December 2012. I filed for an appeal on December 24th. I would like to know how long it takes and what to expect. My husband is currently living in St Lucia and I have been there three times since he went back there in August of 2011. Thanks to Majic Jack which allows us to talk everyday. I am in the process of going to visit him but not sure when I will be hearing from The Appeal Division and how long it will take for him to be here if everything is ok. Any suggestions??
