Finally!!! I just got my PPR and I can't really express how I'm feeling right now as this 6+ years of journey is closer to the end now :'(

Here's my timeline:

VO = London
Originally 2nd application submitted - May 16, 2018
Denied - Jun 03, 2019
IAD received notice of appeal- Jun 19, 2019
Appeal won same day of hearing- Feb 10, 2020
VO reopened the file- Nov 26, 2021
Biometrics Done - Dec 01, 2021
Medical Done- Dec 09, 2021
Schedule A - Dec 21, 2021
Police Clearance - Dec 21, 2021
Another Police Clearance - Feb 15, 2022
PPR- July 04, 2022
Passport dispatched to IRCC - July 05, 2022
Passport and CoPR Received back - August 01, 2022

Guys, I've got my passport back with visa stamped and CoPR with it as well. Planning for landing in First week of September. (Timeline above updated)

I'm nervous about the last step here i.e. Interview with CBSA officer. Anyone has experienced it or any idea what they ask ?

It is usually very much an administrative procedure - and unless your reason for appeal was some very big deal (like national security level issue), that shouldn't change.

You arrive. You line up for passport officer. You show the visa and copr and you'll probably get sent immediately to secondary (separate room) for the landing procedure proper.

At that, basically 90% is the officer doing work on his/her own. They'll ask some basic questions, most of which are just to confirm things. Address, where you staying, etc.

Before signing the COPR, they will draw your attention to the fact that signing means you are certifiying that everything there is true (if not, it's a misrepresentation). You'll sign the COPR, so will an officer and date it. They'll usually say something like 'congrats you are now a PR'. They may or may not provide a bit more info.

Your case seems to be a spousal, not likely they would ask for much more. Perhaps 'is your spouse at that address.'

Again, they're not trying to 'catch' anything here - just basically confirm the stuff.

I'm living with my spouse in home town for more than a year now and our new address was clearly mentioned in updated IMM5562e that was sent to the IRCC recently. Now in the CoPR under "Sponsor Information" section, the address mentioned is my spouse's Canadian address but the fact is that my spouse is not living there.

I'm not sure how critical this is and whether I should inform IRCC for this and whether a new CoPR will be issued.

I'd appreciate if you or anyone else can guide me on this please

Now in the CoPR under "Sponsor Information" section, the address mentioned is my spouse's Canadian address but the fact is that my spouse is not living there.

So, since spouse sponsorship, the assumption is that the sponsor (citizen?) will be residing with you in Canada. Will you be travelling together? Or will the spouse go before you? Will you both be remaining in Canada for the time being (i.e. not soft landing or departing for long trips or to reside in near future)?

While they do not seem in general overly strict on timing, at least in most cases, it is a matter of substance - and given your long process of refusals and appeals, etc., I would ot want to play games with it.

Other than that: the key thing is that the address in Canada is one at which you will receive mail and specifically the card when it is sent. Do not update it to an address outside CAnada.

You can change it and should specify the Canadian address to the officer when you land (or confirm the existing one). If it's a change, it might be wise to update online as well - unfortunately updating to current addresses is not one of the things that IRCC seems to be good or consistent about. You don't need to wait for an updated COPR.

Okay, all clear now. Yes, if you need to update the address upon arrival, you can do that - and you should do so even if you've done an online change of address. I'd still recommend updating it online as soon as possible if you know it, and no, it won't be considered a misrepresentation, just a change of address.

I think you will find that travelling with and arriving at airport with your sponsor will make it go even more smoothly. (Not that it's hard without sponsor present really)

According Gckey and call centre the docs (Pcc, schedule and family information include affidavit of missing one PCC) I sent Jun 2 IRCC have not upload yet online. Do you think they have lost? Or they also behind to upload docs now? I’m freaking and disgusted with IRCC it’s 38 months of dealing IRCC for simple thing my wife join me here Canada. I think Gov are failing every departments, think about the IRCC, lineup for Passport, and airports if you have seen the new and hospitals for not having enough workers.

Before my wife was living in Drayton Valley, Alberta but recently she have moved to Edmonton, Albert. Do I have to update the new address? Because that was my wife address where I supposed to live. Or is it just okay.
