Thanks hilsten, here is full detail about my case
Applied jan,2011 (MISSISSAUGA)
Feb.2011 File Transf to CHC Islamabad .
No news until March,2012.
March,2012, Received letter from CHC Islamabad , Need additional information,IMM008,5406,schedule A Police Certificate, Original Marriage Certificate, Contact & evidence of Relationship ,more .
April,2012 Lawyer sent all Documents to CHC Islamabad.
May,2012 Second Med done.
Feb,2013 received refusal letter

Reasons : No response was received within the specified 45 days as indicated on the request letter (March,2012). on jan.2013,a copy of the letter was resent to your counsel and sponsor (me) in Canada, requesting the outstanding documents.(we have no received the requested documents )

My Lawyer sent documents On April,2012, he did not received resent letter and CHC Islamabad sent me letter, using my 15 years old address. In my application I updated my new address & It was on my e-case status.
just looking what next after receiving my blue book.

dont you have the proof of sending the documents?
i mean, the receipts of the register post mail receipts, courier receipts etc? how did your lawyer send the package to CIC Islamabad? ho should have the receipts of them. but gone is gone. I have heard always this is happened with Islamabad.
sometimes they may ask you the documents which you failed to send, except the ADR or a full hearing.

hi Hina 123, CAIPS notes takes atmost 45 days, but I got my CAIPS notes within 30 days, if you requested send by E-mail its EZ.
hope you will get soon.

theres no point of having a lawyer if theres no many complications with the application. i mean if you dont have any reason you think you wont get the visa.
they only just take the money from the people & doing nothing. its very bad.
but dont worry, you may keep ready all the documents which you failed to send to Islamabad office & all the communication proofs, any other proofs shows that your relationship is genuine, up to-date.
you'll be ok dont worry.

I am just wondering has anybody been denied based only on a short courtship before marriage (but similar in age). And if you appealed and eventually granted PR...

If you could share your story...This would be our "red flag"...

Age difference is a red flag, short courtship before marriage is another one. I know two specific cases here with a history of short courtship before marriage and they are about the same age. They got denied and got ADR (they won it).

Things are still challenging... my husband is stuck in this phase, that is rejecting and criticizing everything about Canada and comparing Morocco, moroccan life, moroccan food and moroccan people to everything here. It is like trying to fit a square in a circle... We also have the challenge about $$$. He still does not realize how expensive it is in Canada and contributes little for now. We have regular fights about this... I contributed most of my money for 5 years to make things happen and it breaks my heart that he does not want to do the same now he is working...

Thanks Arif my husband lives in Vancouver .. and my lawyer appealed our case from vancouver in April 2013 and now its august n still waiting of our CAIPS notes :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Things are still challenging... my husband is stuck in this phase, that is rejecting and criticizing everything about Canada and comparing Morocco, moroccan life, moroccan food and moroccan people to everything here. It is like trying to fit a square in a circle... We also have the challenge about $$$. He still does not realize how expensive it is in Canada and contributes little for now. Didn't you guys ever discuss these things about canada prior to moving here? It seems like he just suddenly realized all these.

Of course we discussed these things! Almost every day of our 5 years separation. There is a world between knowing it and living it. I even drew a darker picture so he would not be too disappointed. But as I said in my previous post, he is stuck in the second emotional stage of immigration, that is the REJECTION phase:

A friend of mine married a man from Tunisia, and he has been here now 3 years.... it was hard for them too and many times she shared with me her frustrations and how she believed it would never be as it was when they first married.........It took some time, and plenty of patience.... but Im happy to say they made it, and he's finally comfortable and accepting of his new home.....I personally think it took a jaunt back home for him to see how lovely Canada actually is. Chin up, be patient and I'm sure things will get better for you both.

Thank you so much for the encouragement and the best wishes! Actually this is what my husband told me a couple of days ago when we had such a good time swimming in the lake together... after his long day of hard work. He said he needs to go back to Morocco to have a second reality-check. He said that he is certain once he is in Morocco he will compare things with Canada and noticing bad things about Morocco lol and when he comes back to Canada he will be fine.

From time to time, my boss offers a part of her house to immigrants for rent. And always it is the same (she told me). They are excited and fascinated about Canada... this is the honeymoon phase. Then, they start complaining, comparing, criticizing, rejecting, noticing bad things about Canada. Then, they go back to their country of origin for a visit and over there they do the same thing they did in Canada lol And when they come back to Canada they fully embrace it.
