Wow, that is the fastest timeline for an appeal that I've seen. You sent in your Notice of Appeal in November, got your Bluebook in December, and ADR in January? All within 2 months? In Toronto, it usually takes 2 years to get to appeal hearing; I think about 9 months to get to ADR. tony000, are you hearing this?!?!gehtrew said:We appealed in Nov 2016. Got Blue Book in Dec 2016. Appeal Division in Toronto gave us a date of Jan 19th, 2017 for ADR
Won the appeal. Awaiting new Medical and other forms instructions.
Thanks. They specifically ask NOT to send originals!wjmund said:This is the letter we recieved

Sorry, we are from the mainland, so I can't say how it's done in HK, but it sounds like your email should be sufficient, if it has your full name clearly written on it, and it states that you need the police clearance. Should also have the address of the visa office, as results will be sent directly to them:brookslakeside said:Thanks for the clarification wjmund and wait_so_long.
I worked in Hongkong for six years and I need a police clearance. I checked the Hongkong Police website and one requirement is a letter coming from Immigration. Is the email I just received asking me to send updated forms, medical, police clearances, is the same letter I will enclose with my Hongkong police clearance request or i have to request a new letter from Ottawa specifically requesting a police clearance. Thanks again. I'm hoping somebody had an idea.
Quite a different outlook now than last April, when it seemed that all hope was lost. Looks like you need a special form e-mailed to you for the re-medical. See # 5 of the post below yours. They'll need to know whether to send your results to the Visa Office, or to Ottawa.gehtrew said:Thanks, yes it is quite a difference from last April to now,.,.,Is it a good thing to do re-meds before they are requested?
