ALL SPOUSE APPEAL CASES COME HERE AND JOIN US PLZ

Hey all,

So, it's been almost 6 months since we won our appeal and we have not been contacted by CIC for a medical. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have tried everything to contact the government to find out what is going on. I have called CIC (6 times!) IRB, CBSA ... the visa office ... even the MP has contacted CIC 2 times.

Anything else I can do?

There is nothing on letter like that but there is an address in email that i have received but they didn't mentioned that you have send these documents to the mentioned address. Updated forms means they will tally these forms with the previous application or these forms are just a formality?

I emailed them about this as well. They want scanned copies emailed to them at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
That's if your file is in Ottawa. They say on the email if you have questions to email them. That's where you send the scanned copies. Hope that helps.

Try your Provincial Immigration minister and/or Ombudsman. Now that it's not before the courts and you have won, I think they can help you. Mine can't because we are waiting to go to court. Good luck.

March 16, 2015 received approved illegibility email.
With Information regarding sponsorship file dispatch to London (UK) office.
May 12, 2015 asked documents by London visa officer.
Same Submitted within week to London office.
Nov 24, 2015 received spouse sponsorship refusal letter, reason visa officer not satisfied divorce of my first wife.
Dec 12, 2015 submitted appeal to IAD in Toronto.
Feb 23, 2016 received letter from AID Feb 23.2016,In which IAD requested to provide written submission and documents in support of my position to the IAD Registry Office and to the Minister’s counsels by March 24,2016. , and the Minister’s counsel will have twenty-eight(28) to respond in writing to IAD and me (Appellant).
March 15, 2016 submitted reply with all evidences.
But till today date June 2, 2016 did not receive any response from IAD and Minister’s counsels.
My questions
1-Did we made any mistake because of this type of delay happened..
2-Is it normal behavior from IAD and Minister’s counsels,
3-Is there any way to ask from IAD for this delay.
4-please advise if any way to expedite this sponsorship file?

Hello, I am happy because my husband (sponsor) got an extend visa (1 year) to be able to stay longer with me in my country. It was a lot of work that we did not expected , lots of paper , interview + they visit us where we live , they wanted to make sure is a genuine marriage. In few days we are going to send more evidence to VO and ofc we re gonna let them know that my husband got that visa to be able to stay longer with me ,his wife until I get the PR. Do you think that will help??

It looks like you sent in what was asked before the deadline. What was it that you sent in, a divorce document? Possibly if that's all that was needed, they then decided to ask for written submission. I have read it on here once, someone was able to send in information and IAD reconsidered original application.
Can anyone correct me?
Also sometimes your Minister of Parliament can inquire for you.

oh no wintersnow..sorry to hear you still waiting to submit your documents...what did the mp tell you? we are also still waiting ..supposedly they are doing security checks..i found a way to contact csis to inquire about the progress of the security checks but i am holding off till end of june. i think the immigration has been working very slowly lately ..i am not sure what is causing those delays. it takes so much patience...but i also dont know what else i can do.

I won mine in Oct 2015 and just submitted my spouse's medical and police clearance a month ago. my ecas indicate we started processing since 2012 since I think January of this year. My visa office is Accra, how about yours? any relevant info you can share?

It's Very frustrating, won appeal Oct 5th, 2015 got the notice the 3rd day, but waited till March 2016 before receiving the medical/Police request which was sent back to them 3 weeks after. Several calls to IRB, ACCRA and Ottawa for my application's where about only to involve the MP in my area before i could get a response from Accra to update my info. I am lucky that MP's office is located few houses away from me.

sumu at the end of interview..lady told you reasons and asked you questions?

at the ending of the interview lady said we will inform u 5/6 weeks later.

Over 80 Days after Interview , No DM yet ... Ordered GCMS note but was not helpful.. I do not know how If I've Passed Interview or not , Being In Anxiety from 80 Days is not a piece of cake , it is Depressing .. At least they should tell me that If my Eligibilty Is Pass.. I was wondering after Interview we will not be in Limbo about Applicant Eligibility but ................... I again Requested GCMS note might be this time I will find something and sent Enquiry about Eligibilty .

if u are in prosses than it is good for you.. if it will DM and they didnot send you medical request than it will b negative result for you
