Thank you, it does make lot of sense to me although I have emailed Ottawa with a copy few weeks ago but just a normal email to Accra without the decision letter. I shall do that this weekend. Thanks and hope the journey that started in May 2012 would come to an end this year.

Could you please guide me, my wife received refusal on Feb 17, 2016 and same day I filed for an appeal (Toronto IRB Office), I was told by the staff that, first appeal has to be accepted for which they are going to send me acceptance letter and then the process starts.
How do I get blue book (File Copy)? do I need to pay anything to get this?
Do I request for an ADR or they have to offer me the option?
and most important, how long is the total process, as IRB staff told me, not more than 3-6 months in total process, as they are expediting cases.

Hey SV670, how are you doing..... First off once you send your appeal form to the irb office. they will send you and letter staying that they have receive your application for an appeal. Once your appeal have been accepted, they will send you the blue book within 120 days. It might be a bit more than that but most ppl get it around that time and you dont have to pay for it at all. they will just send it to you. Once you get your blue book you can ask your lawyer to request and adr hearing for you. it a 50-50 chance that you will get it. If they think that your case can be resolve in an hr then you will get the adr hearing but if not it will go straight to full hearing and for the time frame for Toronto office you are looking at around 24 months for your hearing give or take.... It you get the adr hearing the time will be very less so pray that you get the adr hearing. But in the mean time gather up as much evidence to help you with your appeal case and go over everything with your spouse so you both can be on the same page. Most ppl lose there appeal case because of contradicting each other. So keep that in mind.

Hey wintersnow they dont have any number to call cpc ottawa......you will have to email them but from the time you won your appeal in Jan 2016, you will from them between 45-50 working days not included weekends... it might go over a bit but that about the normal time i see from other persons like myself to get medical and police record request from ottawa

I am waiting for my passport request as my medical has been done on 7 September. Almost 6 months.
Does anyone from new delhi office received passport request lately?

If you don't hear from them in another month or so, you should contact your MPP. Its still a little early to hear from them. Best wishes !

I'm really mad like I call stupid Cic and all they say is you wait and can't even check on updated statues online they are all fake all they do is sit and drink coffee and don't give shit for others who eagerly waiting for there loved ones to come they don't even want to talk to you on the phone you have to say please or beg them?? They are working with our tax money they shouldn't be acting like this they are sooo lazy to get up and check out statues I really hate them plus the visa officers all around the dam globe
