Hi Mohsoh, my file is being dealt at Ottawa office. I have submitted paper work on August 5th, 2015. I have asked my mp office on Friday to get me update on file. I won't know anything until Tuesday as Monday is a holiday here in canada. Keeping my fingers crossed for some good news. I will keep you posted if I here anything on my end. Let's hope for the best. I know wait can drive insane but we don't have any choice. Take care

Hi guys, I have some questions. What will happen next after passport request? And when the embassy requests for your passport, does that mean your visa is already approved? Or is there still a chance of rejection of application? It's just a matter of waiting when they'll approve it?

Hi Kara,

Call Immigration and ask them? you only have 30days to do medical.
I received the medical request for my Husband by mail. And there was no update online when we received the request. So ask your spouse to check the mail.

Hi Khan,

I'm surprise why you book the appointment. I usually go to MP office direct without appointment and contact the secretary. MP doesn't make contact, Secretary does.
You have to take last letter from immigration. Just provide them all the details about your file. Usually they take 1-2 business day to get back. Best of luck!

Anyone have any idea how long will take for a decision letter? I am so worried. I had my full hearing on August 19, 2015, but no sign of a letter. :-X

Is there anyone at all here with a similar timeline to mine? Or at least anyone who went through the port of spain embassy? How long does it take for the passport to be returned? Anyone? Our appeal was allowed in December 2014 via ADR. PPR came august 10th 2015.
