just got refusal today from Accra saying that marriage of 17yts is not genuine. After long waiting for almost 2yrs am frustrated and depressed. Our lawyer want to appeal my husband is really down due to this news am in Nigeria my husband is in Canada we have two kids 14yrs and 12yrs.this is unbelievable for us because we provided all documents even after that that old witch that interview me is saying my marriage is not genuine.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Sounds like you encounter the same person my husband encountered in January. We have a 2 yr old. I wish you and your family the best.

Thank you is not easy at all we are thinking of the next step the lawyer we got said he will charge us $7.500 and if after that he is to go to court for hearing we will pay another $2500.pls do anyone know any cheper lawyer in antorio. And pls am new if you can share the idea and experience of what to expect during the hearing and how long does it takes for decisions to be made.thanks

Sorry to hear that. Have your husband order the Notes First thing. See exactly why they thought your marriage was not genuine. That's just crazy you guys have such a long marriage and children. Wishing you the best. Some people do this process without a lawyer. Not sure how complicated your situation is though.

I am sorry for your refusal, did the VO let ur your lawyer or you know why he/she think your marriage is not genuine?

She said she is not satisfied that if she me issues me visa she is not sure i will live with my husband in spouse relationship i just tired for this woman and again she asked me one question that if i go to Canada and meet my husband with another woman will i accept it i told her no i will fill bad but i trust and love my husband but all the same we will talk about it.was she expecting me to say i will not react or what well i no fit lie that's the truth is not easy for a genuine marriage to tell you that she will accept any woman she meet with her husband so that's were am seeing were she fill she has to refuse me visa
