See the link below.. now there is new Visa application centre is open on meena road abudhabi... u can submit your application there.....

you need to fill study permit form and a family information form.. if u are alone you hae to pay 125$ for study permit togather with your application...... If u are going with spouse... you have to pay $75 for the temporary resident visa of spouse for single entry and if u want a multipal entry temporary resident visa then u have to give $150..... and you have to submit a temporary resident application and a family information form....

Thanks for the info but will I have submit a TRV form since I will be accomapnied by no one. Secondly I have got admission from UBC over a month ago but still haven't received the hard copy of the admission letter. My question is whether I can apply using a copy of the letter.

Hi,

TRV application form is not required for the main applicant or student because all the necessory information required is already there on study permit application..... and u do not need to pay as well seperately for TRV..... so ur fees will be $125 and u have to submit study permit application and validate it to have barcode page with it and one family information form.

University must have send u acceptence letter with all the details.. course duration starting date any condition.. if there is any certain condition like pay a confirmation fees till a certain date given you have to submit this fees before you submit your application. suppose in my case there was written condition on my acceptence letter that candidate has to pay $1300 as confirmation fees.. SO i submit that money and attcach a copy of that reciept with my application... if there is no such condition mention on ur acceptence letter then its fine you can straight forwardly submit the application.

yes you can submit the copy with it basically they themself ask for copy i took both with me a copy and one orignal..... and they give me back the orignal and said u must be needing it at immigration(point of entry)... in any case they will cross check with the collagae against the student id number mention on the acceptence letter... so copy is fine to submit.. do not wait for the orignal to submit..... because they themself return at the same time when i was there and said photocopy is enough.......

yesterday my 7th week completed...

last week i sent them email, fax and web-query...

and they sent me 3 replied ... mentionning its under process as they have lots of applications currently being handled on FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis...

in their email of subject line, they have mentioned my file number which is S-xxx-xxx-xxx (S-9 digit) .... atleast, i know my file number now...

but, i am hoping to get a decision by a next week inshallah....

I applied paper ... Submitted in abu dhabi 27th march ... From qatar ... Banker .... 8 years worked in 3 countries ... 4 banks ...ielts 7.5 ... Applied for mba in ontario ... Bank balance showed usd 100,000 ...
