If u applied from UAE.... it will take 4-8 weeks.... becase from VAC(ABUDHABI) it takes 3-5 weeks while from embassy it takes 8-10weeks.. mention on website......

if u apply through visa application centre then it wil take less and they have sms and online chat facility also...!! for tracking ur application!!

Sh*t !!! I didnt know about the VAC, I applied from CIC, is there still a chance I can tell them to speed it up? I have a ticket booked back to canada for 1st July! I applied 5th May

You applied online??? what is ur nationality???? they do not take orders and they do things according to their own.. knowing the fact 1st come 1st serve... but still u can tell them you situation with ur details that you apply this time but its just 9 days u applied.... so in VAC even it takes maximum 5 weeks... why you apply so late for september intake?? and u were in canada before? was not u on student visa??

Any news so far?? its been a month i applied... I submit my application on 15th April...... Hope to hear from CHC soon!!!
