i guess you can but best is do offline haha you know either passport hold is hectic as always

Maybe IRCC realized it was a mistake and corrected the update

yes the same status change happened to me as well now its back to normal that docs are being reviewed.

I had a query

When i login to my wife’s and kids cic account And try to see any updates

I saw that status is changed to “updated”

But when i refresh it the status again changed to “Submitted”

Is it the tecnicl fault?

This is not a technical glitch actually they are working your family applications and you might see updates in the status in coming days.

as i mentioned earlier that i have applied visit visas on 31 july 2017 with family and still waiting for update.
Do they do background check every time you apply? as i do have visit visas and now applied for renewal

Your current application is for a new TRV from scratch. There is no renewal for TRVs.

Background checks are done if the visa office believes it is necessary i.e. depending on when you had previously applied, which countries you have traveled to/lived in the interim, etc

A friend of mine got his parents TRVs approved in 3.5 months. They are aged in 60s and sponsored by their Son in Toronto.

One positive thing again. They processed your application in 2 weeks though you are refused but i will urge you to re-apply again by fulfilling all the requirements and objections raised by visa officer.
