My mom applied for TRV on Feb 10 and yesterday her application status was updated with note that her processed passport has been dispatched from Canada Visa office. So be patient, they are trying to follow avg time of 72 days.

You can send an inquiry to the relevant visa office but am sure that they will send you a standard reply, think they copy paste it as most people get same response in reply to their query, that you application is under review and keep correspondence to minimum.

Dear Seniors- My mothers Super visa got refused today and earlier she was refused visit visa also. Main reasons for rejection are strong ties in Canada as my brother and I both are in Canada. She has a good bankbalance but property transfer in her name is in process right now so I didnot attach any property documents this time.

Going forward,I am thinking of applying for GMCA notes first and from there I will move forward by getting property documents and also my brother is going back to Pakistan in few months and so that will probably address their concerns for strong ties. Also, my mother looks after a downsyndrome child voluntarily and so do you think that will also show her ties with backhome and helps ppl with matrimonial matters on volunteer basis. Previously, i have always shown her Home-maker but this time if I mention all this...will it be positive or not?

From your experiences, pls. share the best of your knowledge to address the Strong ties concern...Also, pls. have a look at the steps I am planning to take and advise I will really appreciate that.

I am currently living in Canada with my husband and I have my Inland Spousal Sponsorship under process. I am on implied status.

As I am expecting, I want to invite my mother to visit me during this time. Can someone please guide me about the visit visa procedure? what are the chances of getting one? can i write an invitation or it has to be from my husband, who is a Canadian citizen? how long does it take for the visa process from Karachi?

Today, i got 4 years visa with multiple entries by the blessings of Almighty Allah. My previous visa was expired on May-2014.

According to my experience, i would like to tell all of you that everything is possible. Just prepare your case with correct and precise documents and information. Moreover, always provide truthful information on the forms. I can understand the circumstances of those people who do not have travel history or week ties etc. But if you do not have any travel history/ week ties etc then it doesn't mean that it leads towards refusal. We should change road-map if there is any such issue.

It means processing time is 3 months roundabout and you was applied online then i need to wait more i was have 3 years multiple visa and this visa was expired on april 2015 still waiting 4 weeks is finishing

Due to summers and admissions, there is so much rush in embassy so you will have to wait for decision.

Wife applied for visitor visa on 24 April. Her PR application is in process since Oct last year so thought she can come visit me while we wait for PR visa. What is the turn around time for decision on visitor visa? The immigration website says 72 days but am hoping it has improved since the website has not been updated since January.

I just wanted to confirm if paper based application takes more time than on-line app? I applied for TRV (paper based) on 29th April 2015 and I read somewhere that online applications turn around time is faster than paper based. Is this true? Has anyone applied through paper based and got successful? If so, how long did it take?

I think online applications also taking long time 2-3 months summer season rush in embassy and delaying I also applied but still no reply
