While i appreciate sentiments of others, it is just we all trying to help each other to the level we can. There is no one more or less or more qualified here.
Every body tries to answer when and as frequent as they can.

@ Somey11,
In addition to what others already mentioned, your current status is a question mark to me. If you are a student or a worker, then inviting parents is going to be significantly harder than if you were a PR.

I have no personal experience in this but generally super visa is the type of trv people apply for their parents. It requires them to undergo medicals but is a special trv issued for longer periods of time. You also will have to provide proof of funds for their stay and purchase private health insurance for the duration of stay.

Hi All:

Currently doing good job, but had low income in last year.

I want to sponsor my sister in Pakistan with 3-kids. I am sending her Sponsor letter, Current Bank statements etc. Already prepared Affidavit from Husband for financial support, Husband's 6-month bank statements etc. She's house wife, not doing any job. Any additional documentation she should prepare for TRV application to show strong ties for coming back? and chances of getting TRV.

Hi All,

I'm wondering what is the typical duration for which Visa is issued? 3 month... 6 months... 1 year...

Also, once they request passport does it means they are ready to issue visa or it is normal for all applications to be asked for passport?

I have applied for TRV for my Dad and Sister, and they asked for passport to be submitted.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys, I have a situation here, Please Please help only if you have accurate information or you gone through same situation.

I arrived Canada on single entry visa from Islamabad on 28 Feb 2014. My wife and two kids are Canadian Citizens. I have already applied for Family Class sponsorship within Canada ( No News Update yet) My single entry visa expired and I got extension till the end of Feb 2015. Now Im planning to visit my family in Pakistan by the end of march 2015. My question is:

1: Can I get Multiple entry visit visa within Canada so I can come back.
2: If yes then how and where I can I apply for that.
3: If I apply today will I be issued a multiple entry visa till feb 2015 ( I mean by that till the time of extension of visitor visa and I have to come back before my extension expires). Or will it be till my passport expiry date.

Guys its serious matter for me because I really have to see my parents and on the other side I have to come back for my case and family here.

Please need help and some who can explain me the whole procedure in detail.

Really appreciate your time.

AOA,

As far as i know, they are giving multiple entries visa depending on the expiry date of passport.
If you got email about submission of passport after online trv process, then it is good news for successful applicants. Usually, VOs do not send such email to refused applicants, they just send refusal letter through email. Thanks

Respected Seniors,

I want to apply trv for parents and need your help badly, below is my situation.

- I became permanent resident last April. I came here in Canada with my family (wife and three kids) but sent them back after 1 month.
- My kids are studying there and my plan is to bring them here with my parents once they get a trv visa.
- I have been working here since last 5 months in Toronto downtown as a Network Support Technician.
- My mom is a house wife and father is not working. Also they do not have any travel history. My mom only visited saudi in 2011 for umra.
- I have on younger sister (married) living in same city.
- my mom has 5 siblings out of four living in the same city and one in Dubai.
- my father has 5 siblings too living in the same city.
- They don`t have any property but i can transfer the ownership of my plot to my mother.

Now please advise how to proceed. Should I apply for both or apply for my mom first and then father once she get the visa in order to show them strong ties with home country.

Hello I have very less knowledge regarding Family sponsorship; If your application is inland and you have passed the initial sponsor eligibility then you are eligible to apply for an open work permit based on your family sponsor application. I would seek help of professional regarding the same issue. Considering you are on visit visa here on which you can only stay maximum 6 months in each visit. Since you have already once extend your stay as visitor here I am afraid the CBSA officer won't allow you to enter Canada although you have a valid visa.

Salam everyone,

I am looking for some feedback on this forum regarding a matter.

I am a permanent resident here in Canada, based in Toronto . My mother was issued the super visa ( 8 years validity) and entered Canada for the first time in Aug 2014 from Karachi , Pakistan. When she landed and went to immigration, they stamped her passport. The stamp was a CBSA stamp and it also said PG-08AU2015.

She recently left Canada for a 2 weeks trip in Dec 2014 to Karachi , Pakistan and when she re entered Canada , immigration didn't stamp on re-entry and mentioned that she will have to leave by Aug 2015 and enter again. It seems the CBSA gave her one year entry when she entered first time but I fail to understand why they didn't stamp on her re entry to Canada. Any feed back on this?

Thank You. Will appreciate your help

Regards,

Adil

Well i would give you an honest suggestion which will eliminate all of your concerns in one go. What i would suggest you is to go to Pearson airport and go directly to CBSA people and ask them what does the stamp really means and why they have asked your mother to leave and come again

It is not a concern. It is up to an officer to stamp for whatever time. Same thing happened to my mom when she came to Canada. However, after 6 months, I applied for 2 yrs extension
