Thanks for the reply. One more question , I keep getting emails to check my MyCIC account but when I do , there r no updates..should I email cic and tell them abt this problem?

This is pretty common and all over this forum mentioned multiple times by different people. Most likely it is an error with their system but you should read other threads mentioned by people in the recent month or so on this forum.

i would like to apply for tourist visa of canada, i would like to go canada for summer holidays with my british wife, last year i applied for a work permit in uk but it was refused due to the nature of the job was really low. any way i have moved to pakistan for good and living with my wife and family.
i want to visit canada just for two weeks. i dont have family or friends in canada. no ties
i have invested more then 150K canadian dollar in pakistan. i have commercial building in my own name worth 128k, agriculture land value 58K and i have my own business of oil mill which i recently started. my bank statement is 58 lacs and 14000 british pounds.
now i need tips and suggestion from all of you guys. i dont want to get my visa refused again. i already have paid for hotel booking in canada.
should i apply online or at vac islamabad which one quicker?
i would really appreciate all the suggestions and tips

I applied for my parents and brother visa the first time in January 2014 to attend my convocation.It was rejected based on travel history and not strong ties in home country
I applied in March just for my parents only and not my brother.It got rejected again because no travel history and not enough strong ties with home country
I applied in April after that just for my mom.My convocation was on 29 May 2014
These people did give visa so my mother could not make it to the convocation.
Next day they send the passport and she received it today.
It is refused again saying that the purpose of visit is invalid and no travel history.
My mother has been to Saudi,Sweden,Norway and Denmark not in the last 5 years but in the last 6 years.
Like honestly they waited until the convocation date is over and just sent the documents after that saying the reason is not strong now.
My mother has been under so much stress and me too for all this.Is there a way I could appeal the case in Ottawa or some where. I have already ordered the gcms notes.
This is totally ridiculous.I don't think my parents will ever apply again.
Is there somewhere my voice could be heard at least.

You need to submit full detail of finances
You also need to submit hotel reservation + health insurance

I am from Pakistan but currently studying in Germany so i am here on student visa. M
y brother is living in Canada and has permanent residence. I would like to visit my brother in July, but i have some question regarding the application. the most important question is how should i proceed with my application. My mother which is currently in Pakistan has also applied for Canadian Super Visa and most likely she will get it in next few weeks. So in my application should i mention about it? will it have a positive impact or negative? I am doing a student job here in Germany, should i mention about it and attach some kind of proof regarding my job.
I will be very thankful if someone can guide me in this matter.

i think in your case its very hard to get a visa, because you are applying from germany, its always to hard to show your ties if you apply other then your home country,plus you have brother in canada you have ties in canada, i think you have only 5% chance to get a visa, your mother case is nothing to do with your visa application. but there is no harm to try. good luck

Hello , I applied for my mother s supervisa on April 1 2014.She lives in Karachi Pakistan .She submitted upfront medicals with application .On May 15 we got notification asking for applicant to do and submit medicals.We sent the e medical letter again through the VFS to the embassy and still waiting .
What does this mean? Did the visa officer miss the e medical paper originally submitted with the application?
Is there anything else I can do ? I will.appreciate some feedback
