What reason of visit did u mention in ur invitation letter.

Here's the letter I wrote and also got it notarized -

Dear Visa Officer,

I am writing this letter in support of the visit visa application for my wife, XXXXXX. The purpose of her trip is to visit me here in Canada while our application of family class sponsorship (Application # XXXXXXXXX) is being processed. I would love for her to spend the summer here and enjoy this beautiful country. This would also be a full honeymoon since I was only with her for 3 weeks after the wedding and we had to cut our honeymoon short in order to meet the families. I intend to support her financially and provide for accommodation. I’ve also purchased health insurance for her period of stay in Canada.
I am also attaching a notarized letter stating our intent for her to leave the country at the expiry of the visa. I am a law abiding citizen and, under no circumstances, would want to jeopardize our family class immigration application by overstaying beyond the length of time allowed by the visa.

My wife’s (the person being invited) details are as follows:

- Name:
- Date of Birth:
- Address:
- Phone #:
- Purpose of trip: Visit me and my aunt who she didn’t meet at our wedding in December.
- Length of stay: 3 months. Expected arrival 08-13-2013
- Details on accommodation and living expenses: I take the responsibility to support her financially while she is here in Canada. I will also accommodate her with myself. I own a condo at XXXXXXXXX, Missisauga, ON
- Date the person intends to leave Canada: 11-19-2013

My personal details are as follows:
- Name:
- Date of Birth:
- Address:
- Phone#:
- Occupation:
- Immigration Status: Citizen

I would love for her to be able to come here so I can show her this beautiful country which she will be calling home soon. We did not get to spend much time together after our wedding because of my bindings at work. It’s been really stressful to spend time together over the phone. We are having a beautiful summer and I want to show her around and spend time with her. It will be really great if she could be allowed to visit me while our application is being processed since the processing time is over two and a half years and it will take a great toll on both of us.

Regards
XXXXXXXXXX

So applying for trv in a couple of months to visit my husband . Can u plz guide me regarding the ties which we can show to the VO . I have shown the folling ties in my application . Working in a private company on a good salary package , i m enrolled in a masters program in Karachi uni and thirdly i m the only who look after my home and my parents in law.

I might not be the best person to be advising you about it. In my case, I just attached my wife's one month old job letter with Rs. 12,000 salary. She didn't have a bank balance or any property. She just wrote a letter saying that I want to go see my husband and wrote an affidavit promising that she will come back after the allowed length of stay is over. I bought travel insurance for her to show that she won't be dependent on the Canadian public health system in any way.

Many people have shown way more proof and gotten refused. So I don't know what the magic recipe is. What I know is that I was perfectly honest that look, I have sponsored my wife to come over, the processing time is 29 months which is too long, we want to see each other. That's all.

In a nutshell, attach all you think shows his ties to the home country. and put your story in words and I would get it proofed as well. In case there are any errors.

All the best

Dear Umer,
you are on student visa.so,you doesnt have strong ties to your country of residence(Australia).your purpose of visit(tourism in your case) will not be helpful too.
it is better if you apply from Pakistan.
kindly,provide us following details,
1-do you have relatives in Canada?
2-where are your parents and siblings live?
3-do you own any property in Pakistan?

Dear Dot Matrix/All members,

Very good and comprehensive cover letter. I had also attached such kind of letter which was little different in purpose of visit in my case and got multiple trv visa. I will only say to other members, that provide all genuine, original and necessary docs to CHC.

N.B: Don't show high bank statement. You should show appropriate bank assets on your own name which can cover at least your whole trip. Recently i have seen some members who got refusal by showing high bank statement event that they had good travel history.

In short, i think the suggestions of our senior members on this forum like (free help pakistan, fkl, dot matrix, including myself and many others who have get TRV from Pakistan for their own case/their spouse case) are much much better than so-called consultants. In my opinion, their recommendations are very valuable and important. So please never ignore their advise. Thanks

Hi All,

I am a new member in this forum and glad to be a part of it.

My concern is about applying for a TRV for my husband. Our spouse sponsorship case is already in line. I want him to visit me in December. I am a full time permanent employee in Canada and so is he in Pakistan. I have more than enough funds to take care of his travelling and living needs during his visit. I can provide my notice of assessment for the most recent tax year and also my proof of employment (i.e a letter stating my annual salary and my hours per week)

Please advise on hoe to proceed.

Regards,
Mahrukh

In addition to official link for steps to apply, there was a cover letter posted above by dotmatrix for a case some what similar to yours. Please follow it with of course amends specific to your case. The significant element that i liked in that cover letter was that it highlighted the permanent application already in process IN ADDITION to their needs / hopes to have a temp visit along with substantial evidence.

It should be really helpful in my opinion.
