Thanks for joining.....according to my assumptions, before medicals you'll get additional document request via email from London Visa Office after 2-3 months of getting AOR.

Aftrwards you'll receive medical request via regular post but it'll take further 2-3 months. So you'll get MR within 4-6 months.

Wish you all the best.

Regards

My time line is as follows:

MPNP Family Stream(applied online)

LOA issued on April 2012

File received at CIO : 6th June 2012

Bank Draft en-cashed : 3rd July 2012

Received AOR (CIO) : 9th July 2012

Now I have to wait for further correspondence from London Visa Office.

Hi Ume Rayan,

I also sent a cashier's check to CIO along with my application. As you see my time lines on my profile area, my application was received at CIO on July 12, 2012. The cashier's check hasn't en-cashed yet and I haven't heard anything back from CIO as of now.

Can you please let me know how did you know that your bank draft has been en-cashed?

Wish you good luck buddy.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

I got AOR before checking status of my bank draft. But you should contact your bank to tell you about your draft whether it is ensahed or not yet.

I was about to contact my bank when I got an email from CIO & in that email, date was written when my check was encashed.

I shared my AOR in this forum already, Kindly check out my previous posts at this forum & you'll get it.

You can also ask CIO through email about status of your application if you didnt get AOR within given period of 6 weeks. Post your enquiry at following email address:

CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

I hope it helps.

Hi Masood

I hope you are asking about "Settlement Plan-Part 1" which has to be filled by applicant himself. Otherwise I dont know about "Settlement Plan-Part 2" as my sponsor filled that form. I dont have a copy of my own plan, otherwise I would have send it to you.

Well Settlement Plan is all about providing detailed information of your plans to settle successfully in Manitoba. Like how will you find housing, employment etc etc. You have to write each answer in detail.

Regarding question no. 1 in Plan, "Why you choose Manitoba", you can write that I have close relatives who can support me to find housing & job. I have enough education & job experience through which I can find job easily as job market is quite good in Manitoba. I am planning to do few more certification/diplomas from Manitoba to improve my job skills etc etc.

In question No. 2, you have to write "your destination & 2 reasons for going there". 1st reason could be your frndz & relatives lives there & 2nd reason could be good job market, good schools for kids, good colleges for further studies etc etc.

In question No. 3, you have to provide details about your relatives who are sponsoring you.

In question No. 4, you have to write about "your employment plans", like if its regulated/non-regulated then what steps will you take to get a job quickly & easily. For example, You can write that you'll do further courses/diplomas, You'll start applying for jobs as soon as you reach there, you'll improve your language skills by doing courses or reading related books etc etc.

In question No. 5, you have to write about your bank balance which will make it easier for you to find housing & settle easily in Manitoba.

I hope it helps.

Hi Adnan

No not yet. Most probably, I'll receive their email in September or October i.e 2-3 months aftr getting AOR.

Even Im not able to access my ecas status yet...thats weird :-[

I came to know that I'll be able to access it after getting 1st email from London Visa Office. :(

Still loooooooooong way to go.....a lot of patience is required by all Pakistani applicants.

Hi Ume Ragan,
Thank you so much for giving me tips for writing Settlement Plan 1. I'll be submitting my application next month. Do I need to send my settlement plan to my sponsor after uploading.
