Return tracking is not instant. The letter is the Passport Request, which you received electronically. The "out for delivery" message is normal.

Our application changed into approved today and return tracker activated sometime this afternoon. Yeeeeey!!!!

Hi everyone. Just got back from my vacation and picked up my PP and COPR in our mailbox. Here's my update:

PPR july 28
aug 7 sent PP to ottawa
aug 8 pp successfully delivered to ottawa ofc
08-14 item processed in ottawa as per tracker
08-17 PP and COPR successfully delivered as per tracker

I am going to do flagpole in Coutts border tomorrow.

I got the PPR August 13th and sent passports, this Monday - August 17th.

today morning i logged into MyCIC and saw "status: approved"

Now just waiting for the return tracker to get activated and eagerly waiting for our PPs.
I will keep you all updated with progress!

When did your passport reach CIC

Not sure on when the PPs were exactly delivered as the canada post status ..still shows " out for delivery"

I called up their customer care and they said - sometimes delivery man does not scan all packages after drop off at the CIC post box.

so hopefully, it reached on Wednesday or Thursday.. i guess :

CoPR Arrived!!!

here is my updated timeline :
Passport request : Aug 17
Documents sent : Aug 17
Documents out for delivery : Aug 18 - The status is still out for delivery
myCIC - approved : Aug 19 or Aug 20
Return tracker activated : Aug 20
CoPR arrived : Aug 21

I literally work a block away from the Ottawa office, I wish I was able deliver it myself haha.

Anyway sent passport yesterday, received today at noon.
