43 days and counting... This is a thread for all applicants who are waiting for their Passports to be delivered back from Abu Dhabi embassy. It seems there are a few of us in the long wait (Surpassing the 10 working day processing time). I've submitted my passport to the embassy on November 3rd, and still waiting. Already contacted London Visa office after the first 4 weeks, no response yet.

Let's share our inputs and experiences so we might have a bit of insight on a possible time to getting our passports back.

Trying to keep a humorous mood inspite of all the frustration..

Did you hand in your passport or send it by courier?

abu dhabi embassy received my passport last december 3...

so i am welcoming myself to this thread :P :P

anyway, i dont plan to go anywhere for the next 5 months...

so no worries...

my consultant said that its ok to celebrate now since it's already sure we will get our passport back with maple leaf...

My passport were received by Abu Dhabi embassy on Nov,30 2014. No news yet. I am waiting today is 12 working day since then. Any body have any news regarding pp.

Same here AJM .... my passport receieved by Abu Dhabi on 30 Nov as well...since then no update....i hope that the passport will be delivered to us during this week...... hope for hope...:)

Dear,

I will wait for one more week and then i will go to Abu Dhabi Embassy personally. One member of the forum did so after 22 days. He went there they said come back after three hours and after three hours he got his passport back. Better to wait for 25 days.

Good for you as you are living in UAE, .... i am little far from UAE it toosk me 6 to 7 hr drive to come to Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi...... still required my passport to enter UAE though ...:)

Dear Badar,

Just wait insha Allah you will get your pp within one month time. No need to worry. Every thing will be ok.

Same here.. live outside UAE and just can't reach the embassy.. there's been a lot of speculations to what is causing this delay.. but no one knows for sure.. your situation is still tolerable.. it's been 45 days for me.. i don't think anyone on this forum had this wait by Abu Dhabi.. there are a few long delays by pakistan embassy but not many from Abu Dhabi.
 
Allahamdullilah got my passport back yesterday. It took exactly 12 working days to get back the passport. (It was delivered at AUH on 1st dec).

All the best for the rest of the guys who are waiting for the passport. I wish everyone gets their passport before the end of this year and enjoy the new year on a new high! :) ;)
