Dear Benjamin,
As you know, I am badly stuck in the medical clearance process since last year. The last medical furtherance report has reached CHC ND on 31 August. I tried to call Ottawa office to find out about the medical review and the lady who answered the phone told me to call New Delhi instead.
I wonder if someone knows the telephone number in New Delhi where one could retrieve some information regarding the medical review. I am in urgency because my medical expiry runs out in mid October.
On the second thought, Would I be entertained if I tried to visit the VO at the High Commission in person?

brother really sorry to hear that......... but the number is same as u have got in ur post 41782000, visiting in person i think they will not entertain u , bro even if it expires why to worry, u will defntly have another chance for medical so pls do not demotivate ur self ........ after expiry of ur medical u order for CAIPS..... to knw in detail what went wrong ....

dear prince,

ur bank statement regarding salary recd is absolutely fine........

i recommend u to get appointment letter( mentioning ur joining date and the designation ) with duties and responsiblties mentioned and signed by authorized signatory.......btw duties and responsiblty must match CHC one that is given in ur NOC.... but be careful u must not copy and paste... but try to modify it .....

employee benefit transaction i think is not necessary...

always keep in mind not to supply unnecessary documents to chc which may work the other way......

dont worry bro...... nw u are into second part of b/ground check that is security and criminal check ......so time taking, in additation if u have travelled to multiple countries thn it can be more time taking........ if not thn u are almost there .......

any news friends.................. done medical yesterday 4 oct......

procedures was very simple.....

1. blood taken - for VDRL, HIV-1 AND 11
2. URINE ROUTINE-- on a small plastic cntainer it was most probably for sugar
3. chest X-ray-- PA view ( for proper functioning of the lungs )
4.EYE TEST ( VISION TEST)--- asked to read alphabets covering one eye , which was kept around 15 fts from u
5. height and weight .

everything went well till BP........... it shot up to 140/90 despite of me trying to calm myself , damn it........doctor asked for ECG and CREATINNE ( charges extra-- Rs 260)
luckily both the tests are normal , infact doctor confirmed me just now that everything is nrmal..............
towards the end while filling the form doctor asked me if i have had any medical history ,like fits, jaundice , joint pain, depression, and any family hsitory of cancer etc.... also habits like smoking , drinking , if so hw frequently ............ thats all

everything was over by 3 and half hours...... doctor confirmed that he will send reports by tomrw , so passport i will send by next week..

friends again waiting period started ...................... i hpe chc doctors also find the reports normal..........

I got my passport back couple days ago with maple leaf on it. I have not decided when I will move but hopefully by next year.

regarding my case.. my pp reached chc nd on 15 oct.. so waiting for final yesssssssss, hope i will get back my pp with maple leaf... by the end of this month......
btw how long it took for u to get back ur pp from the submission date....

Do you have idea on how to change the mailing address, after you have send your initial application to CIO. No response from CIO yet , but the thing is I want to quit my job abroad and want to go back home as I already have 5 years Experience.
