Hello all experts,
I am from India, Pls guide.

I am confused about the process.. i know on the basis of IELTS band we have to applied to the colleges/universities with sending hard copies of all academic documents with application forms to the address. but i am confused in if i got acceptance letter from colleges and then we have to go for study permits, but if the timeline is near and suppose if my 1st sem college fees is due and till that time i haven't study permit then what we will do?? Plss advise on this..

i also want to know what is the total time to get study permit? and what is the further procedure after getting study permit? plss pls advise.. ASAP.

1. It will be your approval/refusal or deferral upto the next possible intake. Your best way would be to collect documents and apply ASAP. In case of a request for deferral, visa approval is almost guaranteed.
2. Generally, 14 to 21 'working days' (India).
3. No, you will get only a TRV (on your passport) + a 'Letter of Introduction'. This 'Letter of Introduction' is NOT your Study Permit. This letter contains your 'Permit Reference Number'. You will have to show this letter to the immigration officials when you enter Canada. You will then be issued a study permit at the Port of Entry, Canada

Acceptance letter from the college is only part of visa application. acceptance letter it doesent mean visa guarantee.

My another query is about "Proof of financial support" i.e we have to show fund on the base of living expenses, all tution/college fees and transportation cost, then how to calculate it for one applicant?? is there any specific amount mentioned anywhere?? pls Re on this.

(1)1st year tution fees + 10000CAD living cost +3000CAD airfare.(no need to prove millioner)

(2)if you are applying under spp.you will require medical test before visa application.I mean with visa application.
(a) and in general you will recieve call for medical.

(1) Under SPP atleast 80% loan of tution fees is compulsory.you can take educational loan via
(a)F.D. against loan
(b)property against loan.it must be from nationalised banks
but loan letter must contain heading with educational loan.(do not forget to mention it from your prefered bank)

(2)after competing 6 months study with good academic,you can apply for off camp-work permit online via CIC website.
