Since I myself am a undergraduate candidate, I cant really tell u about your chances of getting into a Canadian University (as i am assuming you are a graduate student). However in terms of ranking for your program University of Toronto/Waterloo/British Columbia or McGill University should be best choices. Waterloo and Toronto have excellent co-op programs but are also very expensive. UBC and McGill also have such programs (McGill dont have co-op have instead have internship programs) and are slightly cheaper. You should check out the university websites for more info.

Dont worry. After medical the sooner the passport is released the more is the possibility to get the visa. If you have any negative point about ur medical report they would generally delay to take decision. wish u all the best.

I think so. Although I paid only for 1st semester of one year PGD program, I got visa 1st time after an interview with the Canadian VO at BD....

Congratulations! Generally it takes around 3-6 days to reach passport from SG to VFS.
You are lucky, you get it so early. I'm waiting for mine.
