Hi Everyone -

I m very new here - join today - I want to go Canada in Study permit next Jan 12 - Now i have serveral question and if u answer me then it will be gr8 -

1. i complete SSC 2000- Diploma in Computer Engineering in 2004 - after that Bachelor IN CSIT (2 years = 107 CREDIT other waiver) but its end at 2011.
2. Total i have 17 years of study and also i m doing job and have almost 4 years of experience
3. I have my spouse with me - so he also with me in the application
4. My total sponsor amount can show 50 Lac (My father + My Father in law)
5. Seat on Ielts on Aug 04 - i expect 6 band

Now can u pls suggest me can i get student visa wht is my chance here with my spouse together -- or US is good for me - and also pls if u suggest the course that can helps me to get the visa than it will be gr8.

Did you choose a college/ university? Which course did you select? If you have not selected any course/ institute yet, try to search for a course which is closely related to your previous studies and present work area. I assume, you have skipped HSC and entered into university degree by pursuing a diploma. I guess, that's not a big deal if you are worried about it, since you already have your bachelor's completed.

Your overall profile is good to go. It would be better if you could score more in your IELTS.

The total fund required is Your tuition+Living expenses+Spouse Living expenses+Both of you and your spouse's travel expenses. I believe, your available fund is pretty strong, but again, calculate it yourself by adding the expenses.

It is spread widely a myth that getting visa with spouse is a hard nut to break. However, you can still give a try. If you apply for your spouse at the same time of your student visa, you all will need to provide real strong home ties and proper documentation which would prove that you will definitely come back to Bangladesh after your studies. I also wanted to apply with my spouse and daughter, but everyone around told me not to do it as I'll be refused.... So, I applied alone... although my visa decision is still pending, but I am extremely worried how to take my spouse and daughter if I'm given a visa. However, please share your progress and keep us informed about your decision...

Thanks very much for ur overall guidance. I really appreciate it. My Diploma Program was 4 years and under technical education board and its the HSC level. I wish u a best of luck for ur visa application and understand ur situation as u r going abroad without ur family if get the visa now.

What happens during the medical test and what kind of tests to they carry out? Do they take your blood sample, or urine sample or what happens?

Not all medical tests are similar because permanent resident visa applicants have to undergo medical tests that are different from study permit applicants. So study permit applicants who have done their medical, please tell me in details.
