No. I didn't mean unlimited calling to BD... Rather I mean unlimited calling from BD to Canada... :D

My concept was buying an unlimited calling subscription for Canada using CAD 6.99 and gave that account to ur BD family members. Then ur family members from BD can call ur mobile/landphones using that skype account over internet. I think, its worth a try.. :)

I got it wrong. Most people (I've seen) are concerned with how they're going to call from Canada. FYI, Google Phone is all-free for North America; but it's restricted to use on smartphone/mobile phone only in USA. in BD, you have to use PC/Laptop/Tablets to call Canada/US.

Changing DNS or re-routing your BD proxy settings may work for using Canadian Skype in BD. And it's actually C$2.99/mo for US & Canada. Try & let us know. :)

Why anyone needs to change the proxy setting when the account of skype is paid for BD to Canada calls?

Ohh... got it.... C$6.99 from BD but C$2.99 from Canada, right? Its seems really cheap. I don't know they trace the locations or not... but maybe my tricks will work fine without proxy. I am still in BD... u could try first and let us know... :D

Can some1 pls tell me what size and how many passport photo do they require for medical? Also where would be the best place to do Medical? Dr. Wahab's or the others?

Two photo are required and either passport size and the size mentioned by CIC will do.They will also take your photo on the spot. All give same service. But there are difference in fees. WAHAB takes 4K and IOM takes 5K

Hello!

Well i've done my medical yesterday, but unfortunately I forgot to take the photos with me . I did it from the Wahab's medical centre. They told me its okay , and they took a photo of me there. I was getting worried and called up them later about the photo . They said all the documents are sent online, so bringing photo for medical is not mandatory . Is that so ? Should I still be worried that I din't give them any photos ?
Please help me out ! :)

You need not to worry. All the process is done online. In my case they took instant photo though I had photos with me.

I could if my mom were little more tech-savvy ::)

Yes , the take the instant photo anyway. My concern was- am I in trouble that I didn't take the normal photos with me ? :o

No you will not be any trouble as they print those photos instantly and attaches the instant photo to your Form.

Thank you so much for the reply.

Well, My father wants to drop me off so that he can make sure I get settled in my dorm safely.
I know he has to apply for visitor visa but there's something we are confused about .

In the checklist for TRP , it is written
Details of your itinerary in Canada: provisional travel arrangements (airline and/or hotel booking)
But my dad doesn't even know when my visa will be confirmed , so how is he supposed to show this section

And , should he apply for the visa WHEN I submit my passport , or he can apply later too ? Which one is preferred ? Thing is , if he has to apply when i submit my passport, there'll be 2-3 days delay for my passport submission since he has to get the papers ready.

• Evidence of assets in country residence (e.g. property ownership, proof of pension, investments, etc.)
How is he supposed to show it ? He has the property ownership for all his assets , but Does he have to prepare any affidavit ( similar to the one he submitted stating all his assets when I submitted the visa) ?

Should He write a letter to the VO explaining why he is applying for the visitor visa ?

Should he submit my birth certificate along with his documents to prove I'm his daughter ?

Does he have to submit my acceptance letters and scholarship offers too ?

Any additional documents that should be submitted ?

Please let me know! :)
