I am about to submit my application next week and there are few things I would like to confirm

1. In the IMMI1294 Application form which amount shall I put in Funds available for my stay in CAD? Is it the one which is in my dad's (sponsor) bank statement and convert it to CAD?

2. In the family information form IMMI 5645 I am not sure what I should mention in the Present Occupation field when I am not particularly doing anything. I did my Bachelors from London in 2011. Then I did couple of internships in London. Since then I have been doing some freelance work here and then for a small company based in London. At the moment I am in Bangladesh and not doing much other than the freelance work which is part time.

As I am planning to do my post grad in Canada and applying for a study permit I am not doing anything at the moment which makes complete sense. What should I mention in the ''present occupation section''?

3. I just want to make sure I am submitting all the forms. Please could anyone let me know if I am missing anything or whether I have included all the forms?

• IMMI 5654 family information form
• IMMI 5483 Document Checklist form

For example in my case I have BDT 5 lac ($6,329) FDR in my father's account who is my sponsor in BD, beside $28,000 university funding. So, my total fund available = $6,329+$28,000= $34,329.

2. I am not sure about that. Maybe I explained u before about it. But I think, u can use ur profession as "Student" or "Freelance Business".

3. Yes, all forms r there.

Its highly recommended to contact with professor before applying for MASc/MSc. Because those r research based courses where they expect funded students.

If u wanna go for a research oriented degree, u must need to contact with professors. Otherwise, u will get a rejection.

Rasel bhai, thank you for your reply. Yes I will be submitting in the next couple of days. One more thing. I got my academic documents and my dad's translated copies and trade license notorized. In the checklist they didnt say to notorize anything else other than those I mentioned. Do I need to notorize other documents like birth certificate, passport copies etc.? I scanned all those and colour printed

In my case, I notarized everything other then original documents like police clearance. Every piece of photocopy, translated copy, affidavit, CA valuation everything I did notary. There r many contradiction about notary, but I didn't take risk about it. Coz there is nothing to loose if a document is notarized, even they don't need it to be notarized.

But ur university acceptance letter, fee schedule and funding letter should be only photocopy, coz they didn't took my notarized copy rather only plain black&white photocopy.

My current mailing address and residential address is same. I have stayed in this address for almost 20 years. However few years ago the holding number has changed. In IMM1294 For my residential address I used the old address as it corresponds with all my documents and my dad's sponsorship document. For the mailing address I mentioned the new address using the old house/holding no. in bracket. Both the addresses are same but the holding number has changed.

If I tick the YES box I can write my residential address. Now how can I tick NO if the addresses are same? I can still type it if I do not check sny of the boxes. Shall I just keep the boxes unchecked and mentioned both the address?

Really sad that canadian embassy people are on strike..sigh.Ok I got one more question if any deshis could help me out here:
Beside my parents can other blood-related relative act as my second sponsor.Say my grandmother as my second sponsor-She got good fix assets thats why.
Is it possible for her to act as my second sponsor and my father as my first sponsor?

Rasel bhai, rating you +1 for being so helpful. Well in my Passport the old address is written. I am mentioning the new address in mailing address and old address in residential address (as it corresponds to all my document). I will probably have to check the NO box (for residential address- same as mailing address?) even though both the addresses are points to the same place

Preferable airlines : Emirates Airways, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airways

Please give me some idea, who talked with travel agents or have good knowledge about this route.

I am going St. John's , NL also. I talked with a travel agent they said Turkish will be a good choice & cost will be about 95,000 BDT.
